Exhibition of Cham cultural heritage in Ninh Thuan

Delegates perform the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Ninh Thuan Cham Cultural Heritage Exhibition.

According to Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Director of the Cham Culture Research Center of Ninh Thuan province, Ninh Thuan is a region where the Cham people live, possessing many unique cultural values, manifested in many rich cultural aspects, from architecture, sculpture, and fine arts to language, beliefs, religion, rituals, festivals, literature, and art…

“This exhibition provides an overview of the cultural life of the Cham people in Ninh Thuan, encompassing two main aspects: material culture (traditional Cham crafts such as weaving and pottery) and spiritual culture ( music , writing, beliefs, religion, rituals, festivals, etc.). The exhibition includes 25 representative images of festivals, beliefs, traditional crafts, costumes, musical instruments, and 68 artifacts related to crafts, daily life items, and rituals,” Mr. Le Xuan Loi added.

Mr. Tran Hieu Hung, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, shared: “The Ninh Thuan Cham culture exhibition in Ca Mau aims to introduce to tourists and people of Ca Mau the unique features of culture; to promote the distinctive image of Cham culture in particular and Ninh Thuan in general.” The exhibition runs until June 30th, giving visitors the opportunity to explore and study the Cham cultural heritage of Ninh Thuan.
