Exhibition “From the front page to the pages of history”:

On the morning of January 30th, the Vietnam Press Museum solemnly held the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition "From the front page to the pages of history - Springtime of the nation, the Party guides the way" at the Vietnam Journalists Association building (Duong Dinh Nghe Street, Cau Giay Ward, Hanoi).

The exhibition is organized to commemorate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026), the 85th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam to directly lead the revolution (January 28, 1941 - January 28, 2026), to celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, and to welcome the Year of the Horse 2026.

The exhibition showcases hundreds of representative Spring Festival newspaper covers from various periods, along with 96 valuable original documents and artifacts, including poems and New Year's greetings by President Ho Chi Minh published in Spring Festival newspapers, the press system, and propaganda posters celebrating Party Congresses, vividly reflecting the companionship of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism with the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

In his opening remarks, journalist Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, emphasized that the exhibition is an activity with profound political and cultural significance, reflecting the faith, affection, and responsibility of journalists towards the Party, the Fatherland, and the people.

According to journalist Nguyen Duc Loi, from its inception, the revolutionary press of Vietnam has placed itself under the leadership of the Party, becoming an important force on the ideological and cultural front, directly participating in and contributing to the making of national history.

Each Spring issue cover is not just a journalistic product, but also a cultural message, reflecting the spirit of the times, the aspirations for development, and the people's faith in the Party. From newspapers printed under harsh wartime conditions to modern, highly creative publications, the revolutionary press of Vietnam has always played a role in guiding public opinion, strengthening faith, and inspiring patriotism.

Speaking at the ceremony, Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, assessed that the exhibition "From the front page to the pages of history - Spring of the nation, the Party guides the way" is an activity with profound political and cultural significance, contributing to spreading pride, faith, and aspirations for national development in the context of the country entering a new stage of development after the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy affirmed that the exhibition not only recreates important historical milestones but also highlights the special role of revolutionary ideology, propaganda, and journalism in consolidating the people's trust in the Party, arousing patriotism, self-reliance, self-strength, and the power of national unity.

Within the framework of the program, the Vietnam Press Museum received many valuable journalistic artifacts donated by journalists and their families, contributing to enriching the collection of Vietnamese journalistic heritage and serving research, exhibition, and traditional education purposes.

These include the photo collection "The Enemy Destroys, We Keep Going" along with mementos associated with the journalistic journeys of photographer and journalist Dinh Quang Thanh - former reporter for the Vietnam News Agency - working on the front lines in the North and the battlefields in the South; mementos of the late writer and journalist Son Tung - author of "Green Lotus Bud"; and of the late journalist Duong Ky Anh - founder of the Miss Vietnam pageant.

In addition to traditional exhibition spaces, the Vietnam Press Museum also organizes technology-based experience clusters, applying modern exhibition formats such as 3D museums, holoboxes, magic walls, and interactive screens, allowing visitors to actively access content, images, and journalistic materials in a visual and engaging way. This is a direction in line with the trend of digital transformation, aiming to bring the value of revolutionary journalism closer to a wider audience both domestically and internationally.

The exhibition "From the front page to the pages of history - Springtime of the nation, the Party guides the way" is a meaningful cultural and political activity that contributes to affirming the Party's leadership role, honoring the vitality and stature of Ho Chi Minh's thought, and highlighting the mission of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism in spreading faith, fostering unity, and inspiring aspirations for national development every spring.
