Trung Giap: Lighting up the ethics of gratitude

Mr. Bui Xuan Bao in Zone 1, is the son of a martyr and is raising a disabled child. His family's economy is still facing many difficulties. The level 4 house was built a long time ago, so it has deteriorated and is not safe, but he does not have enough money to build a new one. In mid-2024, with the attention of the Party Committees, the authorities of the district and Trung Giap commune, especially the attention of the leaders of the Provincial Military Command, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for the Army, the Viettel Military Group, and the help of neighbors and relatives, Mr. Bui Xuan Bao's family has built a spacious and clean house. Now, his family does not have to worry about rain or sun, has the conditions to develop the family economy, and strive to stabilize their lives.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh - Zone 6, a 2/8 war invalid, a resistance activist who was poisoned by chemicals, always feels happy with the care of the Party and the State. He considers it a source of motivation to help him and his family overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh said: "Every year, on holidays and Tet, my family is visited, encouraged and given gifts by district and commune leaders. In 2023, my family received housing support. I am very happy that my contributions during the war are now being cared for by district and commune Party Committees, 21 Chemical Company Limited and neighbors, brothers and friends. That is a great source of encouragement for my family to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, encouraging children and grandchildren to comply with all policies and guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State, and strive to stabilize their lives.

Along with Mr. Bui Xuan Bao and war invalid Tran Ngoc Anh, policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the area are always regularly cared for and encouraged by the Party Committee and government of Trung Giap commune in particular and Phu Ninh district in general. Currently, in Trung Giap commune, there are a total of 71 beneficiaries receiving monthly allowances. Of these, 2 are severely wounded, 26 wounded, 11 sick soldiers, 5 chemically wounded soldiers, 5 biological children of people infected with toxic chemicals and 22 martyrs, wounded, sick soldiers and people infected with toxic chemicals.

Every month, Trung Giap commune strictly implements the payment regime for meritorious people correctly and fully according to regulations.

Comrade Bui Trung Quoc - Secretary of the Commune Party Committee said: Over the years, the Commune Party Committee and Government have always identified the work of gratitude as one of the important and regular tasks in the process of implementing political , economic, cultural and social tasks in the locality. Accordingly, the Commune has actively deployed and promptly and fully implemented the policies of the Party and State on the work of gratitude to all cadres and people in the area; promoted the education of the younger generation about the tradition of patriotism, remembering the source of water when drinking, and being grateful to the generations of fathers and brothers who fought, protected and preserved the Country through specific and practical actions. The Commune Party Committee and People's Committee regularly pay attention to and direct the good implementation of the work of visiting and giving gifts; ensuring the lives of the subjects and families of people with revolutionary contributions. Up to now, the Commune has no policy families belonging to poor or near-poor households. The commune actively mobilizes local agencies, businesses and people of all walks of life to support the "Repaying gratitude" fund; strictly implements the payment regime for beneficiaries of social assistance correctly, sufficiently and safely; regularly learns and grasps information, situations, thoughts and aspirations of policy families to encourage, share and have timely assistance plans. Along with that, movements to help and care for war invalids, sick soldiers, meritorious people... are also promoted in mass organizations, residential areas...

The specific and practical actions of Trung Giap commune have contributed to improving the quality of care for policy families and people with meritorious services, demonstrating the fine traditional morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the nation, contributingto educating the revolutionary tradition for the young generation about love for the homeland, country and national pride in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
