Lieutenant Colonel Linh stated that his unit was assigned by the Ministry of National Defense to research and manufacture military information products and high-tech electronic warfare equipment.
" This is a very glorious but challenging and difficult mission ," Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Linh expressed.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Linh, the mission presented many major challenges. First and foremost was the requirement to master very modern and advanced technologies, which are possessed by only a few countries in the world , such as frequency hopping technology, reconnaissance processing technology, and passive radar.
Furthermore, the product range of the mission was very broad, from handheld equipment for soldiers, vehicle-mounted equipment, and fixed stations. In particular, the mission's completion time was reduced by half compared to the original plan, creating significant pressure on the entire team of officers and engineers.
To overcome these obstacles, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Linh revealed that the first and most important approach the unit chose was to focus on researching a common technology platform. With this platform, he and his colleagues can quickly develop and manufacture products and equipment to meet various requirements and tasks.
Secondly, it involves applying modern research tools. For example, computational simulation design tools, which facilitate parallel and simultaneous research implementation. Thirdly, it involves continuously applying and updating new technologies to optimize algorithms and processes. Fourthly, it involves working with the "finish the job, not just the hours" spirit of a soldier.
" With the responsibility and approach mentioned above, along with determination, discipline, and unity, we have successfully completed the assigned tasks. Our products have been used in the military, and some core technologies with dual-use applications for both military and civilian purposes are protected by exclusive patents in Vietnam and internationally ," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Linh.
According to the military engineer, this mission has helped him to grow, develop, and make breakthroughs in science and technology.
