
Chau Thi Tinh, a 59-year-old pottery artisan from Bau Truc village, Ninh Phuoc commune, said she was born and raised in the traditional Bau Truc pottery village. Having learned the craft from her mother since she was about 14-15 years old, she has always been conscious of her responsibility to preserve the unique cultural identity of Cham pottery and remains dedicated to the craft to this day.
" Today, I feel very happy and honored to represent the craft village at the Cham Culture Festival. My greatest wish at this festival is to bring the distinctive pottery products of Bau Truc to the exhibition, thereby promoting our pottery brand to more domestic and international tourists, helping the craft village to develop further," Ms. Tinh shared.



Ms. Chau Thi Tinh expressed her hope that the weather would be favorable on the opening night so that a large number of tourists could come to visit and celebrate. According to her, the festival space will contribute to spreading the unique cultural colors of the Cham people, helping the public to understand and appreciate their traditional values more.
The female artisan said this was the first time she had participated in a large-scale cultural festival, and she felt very moved and proud. She hoped that through the event, visitors from all over would not only gain a better understanding of the culture, customs, and traditions of the Cham people but also have the opportunity to visit and experience traditional craft villages such as the Bau Truc pottery village and the brocade weaving village. According to her, this would be a driving force for the continued spread and sustainable development of the traditional cultural values of the Cham people in the future.
Han Quang Duy Thinh, an actor from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Folk Art Troupe, said that he felt very nervous and excited when participating in the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival. To prepare for the event, he and the members of the troupe actively practiced and prepared thoroughly, hoping that the opening ceremony would be successful and leave a beautiful impression on the people and tourists.

Meanwhile, artisan Lam Hung Soi, 63 years old, from Bac Binh commune, Lam Dong province, said that the Lam Dong provincial delegation was very honored to participate in the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival in Khanh Hoa province. According to him, the delegation participated in many activities, including displaying and promoting fine art pottery, traditional pottery, and unique textile products.
Mr. Soi believes this is a source of pride not only for the craft village but also for Lam Dong province. He expressed his hope that meaningful festivals like this will continue to be maintained and organized annually so that localities have more opportunities to exchange and promote their unique cultural values.



Not only are artisans and keepers of traditional cultural values eagerly awaiting the festival, but many young people also express pride in contributing to the artistic program of the opening ceremony.
Nguyen Hoang Nhat Linh, a student majoring in English at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, Ninh Thuan Branch, said she was born and raised in Southern Khanh Hoa. According to Linh, participating in the Cham Ethnic Culture Festival was a joy and a very meaningful experience. This was her first time performing on a large stage at such a unique cultural festival, so she was understandably excited.
Linh said that the training process not only helped her hone her performance skills but also taught her a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and nurtured her passion for art. She hopes the opening night will be a success and that the audience will feel the love and enthusiasm that the performers put into each performance.
