Overview of Victoria School's 2023-2024 Year-End Ceremony
The ceremony was attended by over 1,000 teachers, parents, and students from Victoria South Saigon School, along with parents and new students for the 2024-2025 academic year from the entire Victoria School System.

With a mission to create a happy learning environment and cultivate generations of outstanding, confident students who become happy global citizens with national identity, compassion, and responsibility towards their families, communities, and society, the 2023-2024 school year at Victoria South Saigon International Bilingual School was a series of exciting learning journeys. Students enjoyed meaningful school life, were given opportunities to develop their abilities, accumulated valuable knowledge, and won many prestigious awards. They truly grew in joy and happiness.

In that spirit, the Closing Ceremony of the 2023-2024 school year, themed "Growing Up in Happiness," was held in a very solemn, international, and meaningful manner. All students of the school were honored with proud achievements such as: Outstanding Global Citizen; Happy Global Citizen; Integrated Global Citizen; Promising Global Citizen; Creative Global Citizen; Talented Global Citizen…
At the event, parents and students also had the opportunity to look back on the efforts and happy journeys of the students on the Victoria Walk of Fame - a place that honors the talented students of the school throughout their academic journey.
Parents and students are keeping these messages to mark the end of the 2023-2024 school year.
The most touching moment of the Closing Ceremony was when hundreds of Victoria students looked towards their parents, placed their hands on their chests, and bowed their heads to thank their parents for their trust, support, and for always being there for them throughout the school year.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, Victoria South Saigon School was officially recognized as a Cambridge International School (Code VN467) with a curriculum developed and managed by the Cambridge International Examinations Board (CAIE), currently implemented in over 170 countries and territories.
Smart schools are also a crucial pillar in the educational strategy of the Victoria School Education System. Accordingly, in the past academic year, Victoria South Saigon School has heavily invested in advanced technology systems in line with the Smart School model for management, operation, and learning support. The school offers many smart solutions such as the PowerSchool K-12 system for efficient management of records, grades, assignments, and other educational activities; smart cards used in the school's access control process, facilitating identification and comprehensive management of students and school services; smart gates ensuring strict security; and the Victoria Mobile App – an online communication channel connecting parents and the school. The Bus2school shuttle bus management application… In addition, in each classroom, students learn using interactive Smartboards and tablets to access information, and they can also film, record audio, prepare materials, and create many creative learning products...

Furthermore, in the 2023-2024 academic year, students from Victoria South Saigon International Bilingual School won over 50 prestigious awards. Notably, three Victoria South Saigon students, along with the Vietnamese student delegation, participated in and won high awards at the International Science Forum during the ASEAN+3 Science Talent Camp in South Korea. In addition, many students received national and international awards such as the Singapore Math Olympiad; the CEO International English Olympiad; the IMC International Math Challenge; the UK House of Commons Law Debate Competition; the April 30th Olympic Student Excellence Award; the Phu Dong Sports Festival Award; and the UniCEP 2023 Global Education Poster Design Competition…

Parents are happy to see their children grow and mature after a year of schooling.
Mr. Nguyen Lam Phuong, parent of Nguyen Lam Phuong Nam, class 3.1, winner of the Bronze medal in the 2023 International Mathematical Challenge (IMC) and one of two students to win a full scholarship for a summer study abroad program at Victoria School in the UK, shared: "Our family is delighted to see our child achieve so many good results in the past school year. More importantly, our child is happy to go to school and has grown more mature after a year here. I am truly satisfied with choosing a school that is always full of positive energy, not only focusing on academics but also aiming to promote physical and mental health, providing a happy experience for every student, teacher, and staff member."
The journey to happiness continues.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Master Ryan Rose, representing the Victoria School system, expressed his belief that students had a happy 2023-2024 school year at Victoria School. "The school always believes that happy students become the best versions of themselves. With the trust from parents and the love and support from the students, let us together create a thriving learning community, helping students develop holistically and allowing the journey of happiness at Victoria School to continue to spread."
Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Anh - General Principal of Victoria School System and Ms. Ryan Rose - Vice Principal of the International Program presented awards to the students.
Looking back on the past academic year, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Anh, the General Principal of Victoria School and a member of the National Council for Education and Human Resource Development of Vietnam, emotionally shared: " My feelings right now are pride in a well-designed educational program that combines the best aspects of international programs with the Vietnamese curriculum; admiration for my talented and dedicated colleagues; and the sparkling eyes of happiness and boundless creativity of our students as they participate in learning activities. We will all carry this joy and pride with us as we confidently move forward in the following academic years ."
Professor Dr. Le Anh Vinh shared his thoughts with teachers, parents, and students.
Professor Dr. Le Anh Vinh - Member of the Professional Advisory Board of the Victoria School system - Director of the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences - Ministry of Education and Training , added: "In the past academic year, teachers and students have overcome many challenges. I think that the achievements of Victoria School are sufficient proof of the efforts of the school staff, students and parents. But even more wonderful than the academic results is that Victoria School is always a school full of laughter, full of joy and truly a happy school for all students and teachers. That is Victoria's greatest success in the past academic year."
