Young and dynamic village head

We met Mr. Vo Minh Tim while he was with officials from village associations and organizations, going from house to house to promote, support, and guide people in integrating their documents into the VNeID application. Wherever he went, Mr. Tim patiently explained the practical benefits of this integration to the people. Together with the association and organization officials, he actively supported and guided people to proactively perform the steps to install and integrate various documents on their smartphones. Village 1 has over 630 households and more than 2,600 residents. "From March until now, we've divided into small groups, going from 5 PM to 7 PM every day to each house to promote, encourage, and support them in implementing the integration," Mr. Tim shared.

Having been elected as the village head in December 2024, and also serving as the head of the Farmers' Association branch in Village 1, at a relatively young age and lacking extensive experience, he initially faced difficulties. However, he has always strived his best for the common good, contributing to the development of village movements. Furthermore, leveraging his strengths as a dynamic, creative young person with a good understanding of technology, he proactively established a community Zalo group. This greatly facilitated the implementation of activities within the group, allowing him to promptly grasp feedback from the villagers. In addition, as the head of the Farmers' Association branch in Village 1, he regularly guided villagers in applying science and technology in production; and supported and guided members in accessing preferential loans for economic development. Through this, many members have developed successful economic models and improved their lives.

Mr. Tran Van La from Hamlet 1 said: “As a young hamlet head, Mr. Vo Minh Tim is very quick-witted and enthusiastic in his work. Whenever we have problems with paperwork or procedures, he provides enthusiastic support and guidance. At the same time, he always listens to the opinions of the people and reports them fully and promptly to the competent authorities for resolution. He is also very proficient in information technology, so when implementing activities, he does so quickly and conveniently, for example, guiding people to integrate documents into the VNeID application. Thanks to Mr. Tim's specific guidance, most of my necessary documents are now integrated into the application, making it very convenient wherever I go.”

Tim is also a prime example in the blood donation movement in Dien Khanh district. As of April 2025, he had participated in blood donation 60 times. He first participated in blood donation 15 years ago. In addition to participating in the district's blood donation team, he is also a member of the Platelet Donation Club at the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center. From 2010 to the present, he has always been ready to "go wherever a patient needs him." Tim shared: "I remember, around 2017, while I was at work, I received a phone call from the center reporting a patient urgently needing platelets. When I arrived, I realized the patient needed platelets from my village. The patient's mother clasped my hands tightly, repeatedly thanking me. At that moment, I told myself I had to try to donate even more blood and platelets to save patients in need." In addition, he actively encouraged his family members, many farmer association members, youth union members, and the general public to participate. As a result, many local people enthusiastically joined the Blood Donation Campaign, contributing to the widespread dissemination of the campaign throughout the commune, especially among youth union members and young people.

For his contributions, in 2023, Mr. Vo Minh Tim was awarded the "For the Cause of Humanity" commemorative medal by the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee ; in 2024, he and his family received a certificate of merit from the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee, as well as numerous certificates of merit and commendations from the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center, local authorities, and the Provincial People's Committee.
