In late December 2025, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department organized a training conference on disseminating information about the 14th Party Congress for cadres and journalists nationwide. The speakers focused on clarifying the significance, importance, and new aspects of the Congress's organization, as well as the core contents of the draft documents submitted to the Congress. Simultaneously, they equipped participants with methods and skills for media communication that meet the requirements of innovation in content, form, and approach, moving towards a multi-platform, in-depth, and widely disseminated approach, ensuring accuracy, effectiveness, and persuasiveness.
Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association , and Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, made a strong impression at the conference. He emphasized the comprehensive innovation efforts of Nhan Dan Newspaper in recent times, demonstrated through numerous information and communication projects, especially during major national holidays; and social, cultural, and artistic activities organized by the newspaper. More than just reporting news, the press has excellently fulfilled its mission on the ideological front. These are not dry, dogmatic articles, but rather journalistic works rich in emotion, powerful in their impact and ability to inspire.
“The innovation in propaganda at Nhan Dan Newspaper focuses on diversifying content and form, increasing relevance and practicality; promoting digital transformation and applying technology to reach readers; improving the quality of works in a rich and in-depth manner, while strengthening interaction, receiving reader feedback, creating connections and spreading trust in society. We will continue this spirit in the process of disseminating information about the 14th National Congress of the Party. We hope that our approach will inspire and suggest new methods for press agencies nationwide,” said Comrade Le Quoc Minh.
From a journalist's perspective, reporter Le Tay Ho – from the Print and Online News, Digital Content, and Radio-Television Department of An Giang province – shared that being assigned to participate in the propaganda for the 13th and 14th National Congresses of the Communist Party of Vietnam was a special professional experience. While at the 13th Congress, propaganda work was mainly carried out relatively independently across different media channels, the demands at the 14th Congress were much higher. This was the first congress held under conditions where media agencies were merged, requiring reporters to work across multiple media platforms, simultaneously covering print, online, digital content, and television. This demanded that each journalist proactively innovate their approach, improve their synthesis skills, and enhance their journalistic storytelling abilities.
“I will focus on creating foundational articles such as interviews with provincial leaders, the Head of the An Giang Provincial Delegation, and members of the delegation attending the Congress, clarifying the content of suggestions on the XIV Congress documents from the practical development of An Giang, thereby clearly demonstrating the sense of responsibility and concrete contributions of the An Giang delegation to major national decisions. Besides traditional articles, I will proactively create megastories and infographics to help readers access the content of the Congress in a more visual, easy-to-understand, and engaging way. These products not only convey information but also create a wider reach, especially on online newspapers and mainstream digital platforms,” said reporter Le Tay Ho.
Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and Permanent Deputy Director of the Press Center for the 14th Party Congress, stated that to create an atmosphere of enthusiasm and unity in thought and action throughout the Party, the people, and the armed forces, propaganda work needs to be implemented with new thinking, new approaches, and new methods. In particular, special attention should be paid to promoting the role of multi-platform journalism, especially digital platforms. “After the conference, each cadre and reporter will have a clearer understanding of their political responsibility, continuing to play the role of a soldier on the ideological and cultural front, contributing to the successful organization of the 14th Party Congress, and consolidating the people's trust in the Party's leadership and the country's development path in this era of progress,” Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy emphasized.
| The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department requests that agencies, units, and localities utilize the system of slogans promoting the 14th Party Congress to effectively carry out propaganda and mobilization work before, during, and after the Congress; focusing on crowded places, central areas, especially airports, seaports, traffic junctions, and main roads; reviewing and removing inappropriate slogans; and simultaneously displaying Party flags, national flags, and banners; and beautifying urban areas and residential areas to make them green, clean, and beautiful. |
