Southern Vietnam Ceramics Exhibition Week

From May 24th to 31st, the Nguyen An Ninh Digital Library and the Ho Chi Minh City Book Street are jointly organizing the exhibition "Southern Ceramics - A Century of Milestones" in various special formats.

During this period, the official website of the Nguyen An Ninh Digital Library will host an exhibition of images and documents with the theme " Fertile Land Transforms into Gemstone ." The entire content will be presented through a visual poster system combined with integrated QR codes, allowing viewers easy access to various resources, such as research articles, illustrative images, audio-visual materials, and in-depth collections. With this approach, the organizers hope to provide a multi-layered experience, combining traditional and modern elements, enabling viewers to not only admire but also delve deeper into Southern Vietnamese ceramics anytime, anywhere. Characteristic Southern Vietnamese ceramic styles such as Saigon ceramics, Cay Mai - De Ngan ceramics, Bien Hoa ceramics, Lai Thieu ceramics, Vinh Long ceramics, and An Giang ceramics will be showcased. Through this, the public will learn more about the history and development of various types of pottery, gain a better understanding of traditional pottery making, and appreciate the contributions of artisans and the technology used, from the shimmering glaze to the rustic shapes that possess many unique values...
