Before the first half ended, the lead was doubled for the white-shirted team. In the 43rd minute, Cong Hau was in the right place at the right time in the penalty area, neatly controlling the ball from close range before easily putting it into the net.
In the second half, the game didn't change much as the Vietnam U19 team continued to maintain pressure. In the 49th minute, Van Bach unleashed a powerful low shot into the far corner, increasing the lead to 3-0.
In the 62nd minute, Cong Hau was fouled in the penalty area, earning a penalty for Vietnam U19. From the penalty spot, Duy Khang accurately converted the penalty, increasing the score to 4-0. In the 84th minute, Thien Phu, a substitute striker, rose high to head the ball into the net, raising Vietnam U19's goal tally to 5.
Conversely, Myanmar put in a valiant effort but were unable to find a consolation goal. Ultimately, Vietnam U19 secured a resounding 5-0 victory, temporarily leading Group A with 6 points after two matches.
Meanwhile, Myanmar dropped to the bottom of the table after losing all their matches and conceding 8 goals. This victory gives coach Yutaka Ikeuchi's team an advantage ahead of their crucial match against Indonesia in the final round of Group A, which will take place at 7 PM on June 7th.
