Can Tho City People's Committee has a new Chief of Office

Party Secretary, Chairman of People's Council of Tran De commune, Can Tho city was appointed to hold the position of Chief of Office of Can Tho City People's Committee.

On October 22, Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Truong Canh Tuyen signed a decision to accept and appoint Mr. Nguyen Trong Son to hold the position of Chief of Office of the City People's Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Son (born in 1972, hometown of the former Soc Trang province) is currently the Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Tran De commune, Can Tho city. The decision to appoint Mr. Son to the position of Chief of Office of the City People's Committee is for a period of 5 years, from the date of signing.

When Hau Giang province, Soc Trang province and Can Tho city merged to form the new Can Tho city, Mr. Son was appointed to hold the position of Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Tran De commune while he was Chairman of the People's Committee of Tran De district, Soc Trang province (old).

Previously, he held the position of Party Secretary of Ward 1 (Nga Nam town) and Deputy Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Soc Trang province (old).

The Chief of the Office of the People's Committee of Can Tho City since the merger (July 1) is Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trung (former Chief of the Office of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee). According to Tuoi Tre Online 's source, Mr. Trung will be transferred and appointed to another position.
