The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Le Thuy commune continues to promote the people's role as masters, strengthening grassroots democracy through neighborhood meetings and people's conferences. At these meetings, people participate in discussions, contribute opinions, and monitor the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, Party building, and government building. Many issues directly related to people's lives, infrastructure development, environmental protection, and the implementation of social welfare policies are made public for people to participate and contribute their opinions, creating high consensus in the implementation process.
Many self-governance models continue to be effective, such as: "Green, Clean, Bright, Beautiful, and Safe Self-Managed Roads," "Green Houses," and "Residential Areas Free from Crime and Social Vices." Through participation in self-governance activities, people have raised their sense of responsibility towards the community, become more proactive in environmental protection, maintaining cleanliness in villages and alleys, and preventing various types of crime and social vices. Many residential areas have formed the habit of working together to solve problems arising at the grassroots level, fostering a spirit of solidarity and mutual support in life.

“The commune's Fatherland Front has effectively coordinated the implementation of digital transformation, contributing to bringing digital utilities closer to the people through cashless payments for policy beneficiaries, activating electronic identification, setting up social security and health insurance accounts, using the QUANG TRI-S digital citizen application, and participating in cleaning up land data. The commune's Fatherland Front and its member organizations continue to maintain and expand many effective models for environmental protection, building a civilized lifestyle, and ensuring security and order, such as: “5 No's, 3 Cleanliness”, “Household waste collection and sorting”, “Scrap collection for charity fundraising”, “Waste-free riverbanks”, “Planting trees to combat climate change”, “Fields free of pesticide containers”, “Security cameras”...
"In particular, the locality has organized more than 50 campaigns to clean up the environment and fields with nearly 3,000 participants, collecting and processing tens of tons of various types of waste, contributing to building a green, clean, and beautiful rural landscape and raising environmental protection awareness in the community," added Duong Duc Pho, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Le Thuy commune.
