The tea-drinking culture of the "Finest Tea Region"

Việt NamViệt Nam15/08/2023

Since ancient times, our ancestors have used tea as a daily beverage. Every morning upon waking up, the first thing our forefathers did was boil water and brew a pot of tea.

Tea drinking has become a deeply ingrained habit in the daily lives of the people of Tan Cuong District, Thai Nguyen Province, known as the "Land of the Most Famous Tea," and has been passed down through many generations. Tea not only serves to quench thirst but also helps to purify the body and soul of the tea drinker.

We cannot deny that tea has always played a significant role in the cultural identity of the Vietnamese people. It can be affirmed that every Vietnamese family, whether modern or traditional, owns a tea set. In daily life, we often use teacups to offer guests, showing warmth, hospitality, and respect from the host to the visitor.

The culture of tea drinking also reflects simplicity, sincerity, and equality among different social classes.

It is evident that tea culture has a profound influence on the lives of our people. Not only now, but in the future and forever, tea will continue to hold an important place in the hearts of every citizen of this "Land of the Most Famous Tea."
