Along with the task of extinguishing fires as quickly as possible and saving people and property safely during conflagrations, firefighters also strive their best in many aspects of their work, all for the peace and happiness of the people.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hai Phong Public Security has always been a leading force in the fight against fires. The unit's officers and soldiers have performed well in most aspects of their professional work, including advising and approving fire prevention and control measures; inspecting fire prevention and control; training, maintaining firefighting and rescue readiness; effectively carrying out basic professional duties; and actively participating in maintaining security and order. They have also strongly promoted the nationwide fire prevention and control movement, contributing to curbing and reducing major fires that cause significant loss of life and property in recent years. In performing their duties, firefighters continuously research work procedures and regulations, and reform administrative procedures related to fire prevention and control to create the most favorable conditions for all organizations and citizens. The duty officer is assigned to officers with sufficient professional competence, good moral character, and professional communication skills to receive and handle cases promptly and effectively. In 2024, the "Happy Vietnam" photo and video contest continued to be organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on the website. https://happy.vietnam.vn is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and above. The competition aims to honor individuals and groups with positive informational products that make practical contributions to promoting a beautiful image of Vietnam to the world .
