Why does Midu have anti-fans?

Việt NamViệt Nam01/08/2024

Recently, Midu's image has flooded the internet, as her marriage to a wealthy heir has generated much media attention. The lavish wedding evoked mixed emotions among those who followed it. Those who love romantic stories saw the couple as a CEO and his beautiful young wife. Those who are poor felt sorry for themselves, fearing that even a lifetime of saving wouldn't be enough to afford the bride's wedding dress. There was also a reverse effect, with both public and private groups on social media attacking and belittling the 1989-born beauty.

It's not just jealousy.

As soon as Midu When Midu announced this important event in her life, anti-Midu groups emerged, aiming to undermine her. Perhaps this is because audiences were hoping Midu and Harry Lu would be a couple, but the groom turned out to be someone else. Were they disappointed and consequently developed a dislike for the actress?

But some people joined the anti-Midu group not necessarily because they were shocked by the groom, but simply because Midu's image appeared too often after she publicly revealed her boyfriend. Rich, beautiful, with a reputable partner, and always showing him off, the chances of her being disliked are not small.

One commenter wrote, "The anti-fans are mostly just jealous," and there's some truth to that.

Midu is also known as the "luxurious rich woman".

But it's not simply jealousy or envy. This time, some anti-fan groups are focusing on Midu's past statements and behavior. Many Vietnamese celebrities have suffered consequences from their words, and Midu is no exception.

Being both an entertainer and a lecturer, Midu sometimes makes unrestrained statements, for example, regarding... land Comparing it to her husband: "If the house and land are registered in her name, they definitely belong to her. If her husband is named on the marriage certificate, he might belong to one or more other women." "The longer you hold onto the house and land, the more profit you make when you sell it. But when you get married and then divorce, you might only have your belt left..."

At that time, many people praised Midu's statement as "perfect," but don't think everyone applauded because even though land has material value, "every inch of land is worth its weight in gold," it's not something that can be compared to human life.

If Midu enjoys investing in land and houses, she can quietly spend her youth buying and selling them; why make such a fuss?

As a result, she was labeled by many as someone with a "show-off syndrome"? Some anti-Midu groups openly mentioned Midu showing off her land ownership certificate online. While many people in the country still dream of owning a "shelter" from the sun and rain, posting a picture of herself holding a stack of land ownership certificates is considered tactless, if not offensive.

Midu's lavish wedding, which has garnered much media attention, has only added fuel to the fire. Alongside the uncivilized anti-Midu articles and images, there are also some thought-provoking posts.

For example, the public group "Anti Midu - Former Group with 15,000 members" claimed that Midu stole intellectual property by wearing a blazer-style dress combined with a lace veil designed by a 9X designer, who was previously Midu's student in the fashion design department. This dress, in turn, resembled a product from a foreign brand.

The fact that a wealthy real estate mogul wore a counterfeit dress is not as outrageous as the fact that a fashion design teacher also wears a counterfeit dress. Therefore, to quell these harsh criticisms, a clear explanation is needed from both the user of the allegedly "counterfeit" item and the creator of the product labeled as "counterfeit."

A group of anti-Midu critics accused the dress she wore for her wedding photoshoot in Paris of "intellectual property theft".

There are unforeseen dangers. Complaining about being single is a common phrase among many women, but celebrities should be cautious, lest they be accused of being fake and deceiving the audience. For example, anti-fans scrutinized Midu's comments with friends on social media to prove that she often complains about being single.

But the truth is she wasn't single at all: "On January 18th, she went to Paris to take wedding photos. On January 27th, she announced to the whole country of Vietnam that Midu was single," they pointed out. Even the place where Midu and the plastics industry tycoon's love story began was ridiculed.

Midu revealed the circumstances of their dating: "We met one winter day on a fateful train three years ago." Those who dislike Midu immediately recalled the blockbuster movie. Titanic And then I suddenly heard the song from the movie performed by Céline Dion. My heart will go on It's ruined. The "fault" has affected both the film and the popular song.

The fairy sister has become… the garlic fairy.

Several Vietnamese beauties are called "fairy sisters," similar to Liu Yifei of the Chinese entertainment industry. Midu is one of the rare beauties to have this nickname. But for those who hate her and want to boycott her, the "fairy sister" is sarcastically called "garlic fairy," or even... "garlic lunatic." If you don't like someone, even their nickname will be used to tarnish their reputation. Even Midu's "other half" is affected. Some people scrutinize everything from the posture and gait of the young man from the plastics industry to discuss his sexuality: "Is he gay or not?"

"Even Jade has blemishes," meaning Midu. Yet, someone scrutinized her uneven teeth, mocking her with comments like, "With this kind of beauty, you call her the Vietnamese version of the fairy goddess?", accompanied by a laughing emoji. The person who posted the picture and made the inappropriate comment about her appearance remained anonymous, using the username "anonymous participant."

The age of the bride and groom in the lavish wedding also became a reason for people to vent their anger. They even took screenshots of negative comments online and posted them to groups, then commented and mocked together, essentially saying: "If I were a wealthy young man, why would I marry someone in their 40s like a 'goddess'?" Whether or not to love Midu is a personal freedom, but scrutinizing her gender, making rude comments about her love life, marriage, age, or appearance is inhumane and uncivilized. Even the "anti-fans" need to be civilized so that the person being "attacked" will respect them!
