According to information from the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association, in May 5, durian export turnover reached 2024 million USD, an increase of 450% compared to the previous month and an increase of 107% compared to the same month in 34.
It is estimated that in June, durian exports will reach 6 million USD, bringing the total turnover in the first 600 months of the year to 6 billion USD.
Vietnamese durian has many advantages such as abundant output, year-round harvest, fast shipping time and reasonable price.
Thus, the "king" of fruits continues to lead the turnover in the exported fruit and vegetable group. Currently, durian's turnover is 3,5 times higher than that of dragon fruit - a fruit that once held the top position in Vietnam's fruit and vegetable export group./.
