In the first 6 months of 2024, Thach Thanh's state budget revenue achieved positive results, increasing by 42.18% over the same period. Investment and business development activities were directed with attention; attracting investment capital in the first 6 months was estimated at more than 408 billion 934 million VND. Thanks to the diversity of activities and improvement of product quality, Thach Thanh tourism has attracted a large number of people and tourists in recent years; total revenue from tourism activities is estimated at 15.41 billion VND, up 9.5% over the same period. The system, organization, staff and civil servants have been consolidated and improved; the role of Party committees, authorities and organizations at all levels has been promoted, and people's trust in the policies and leadership of the Party and authorities has been enhanced. Strongly developed economic - cultural - social infrastructure has contributed to changing the appearance of the rural areas to be spacious, clean and beautiful; People's material and spiritual life is improved...

The National Target Program on New Rural Development of Thach Thanh district has spread strongly and widely. The Party Committee, government and people of Thach Thanh district have promoted their spirit, efforts and determination to achieve the goal of becoming a new rural district by 2025. Mr. Vu Van Dat, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Thach Thanh District Party Committee, said: "Closely following the goals and tasks of the province in the new period, Thach Thanh identifies building a new rural district by 2025 as a key task of the entire political system and the whole society". The Resolution of the 25th Party Congress of Thach Thanh district, term 2020-2025, especially the promulgation of Resolution No. 07-NQ/HU dated June 6, 2022 of the District Party Committee Executive Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in building Thach Thanh into a new rural district by 2025 clearly demonstrates that viewpoint and goal.

Resolution No. 07-NQ/HU of the Party Executive Committee of Thach Thanh district clearly stated: The process of building new rural areas must consistently implement the motto "people are the subject of building new rural areas"; launching the movement of "joining hands and hearts to build new rural areas". Strengthening the study and replication of good models and advanced examples of building new rural areas in the district. The assignment, assignment and implementation of standards and criteria must be specific, with clear people and clear tasks, taking products as a measure for the level of task completion of organizations and individuals participating in the process of building new rural areas. The Secretary of the Thach Thanh District Party Committee emphasized: We set goals with specific numbers and are highly determined, mobilizing maximum resources, and synchronously implementing solutions to realize those goals. But we must not "glorify" them, formalities, or willfulness; even the smallest tasks must be substantive and create sustainable values. Carrying out the tasks in the first 6 months of the year in the context of many difficulties and challenges, the socio-economic situation, national defense and security, Party building and political system of Quang Xuong district achieved many outstanding results with 5 targets completed, 4 targets exceeded the annual plan according to the Resolution of the District People's Council. The economy continued to grow; the economic structure shifted in a positive direction; culture - society, education had many outstanding marks... The results of site clearance reached 129% of the district plan and 78.74% of the province's plan for the whole year, 2.13 times higher than the same period...

It is known that Quang Xuong is one of the localities with the highest volume of site clearance in the province, second only to Nghi Son town. The number of achieving and exceeding the site clearance plan shows the proactiveness, determination and flexibility of the Party committees and authorities at all levels, the great solidarity and consensus of the people for the common goal of building and developing the homeland. Since then, the district's socio-economic infrastructure has been invested and upgraded synchronously, creating a difference compared to the beginning of the term. In particular, the district has prioritized investment in connecting infrastructure and rural infrastructure in line with the process of economic restructuring and urbanization. Many important works and routes connecting major traffic axes of the country and the province, urban planning areas and tourist areas and spots of the district have been invested, thereby creating favorable conditions for trade, enhancing regional connectivity, effectively serving socio-economic development...
