In just 8 months, Viettel Software upgraded from CMMI Level 3 to Level 5, marking a milestone in its journey to affirm its capabilities and position on the international stage.

Viettel Software has successfully passed rigorous evaluation and interview rounds to upgrade its CMMI Dev certification from Level 3 to Level 5. This is not only proof of its effective management and operational capabilities but also a solid stepping stone to elevate Viettel Software's position on the international stage.
CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) is a leading international standard applied in many fields such as software development, project management, and service delivery. Achieving level 5 – the highest level – affirms Viettel Software's commitment to process improvement, enhancing product and service quality, and sustainable development on a global scale.
Viettel Software launched the CMMI level 5 version 3.0 upgrade project in April 2024 with the participation of 12 key personnel from the Quality Management and Technology Engineering departments. Thanks to their determination and extensive experience, the company successfully achieved this challenging goal in just 8 months.
CMMI version 3.0 brings many strategic improvements over the previous version 2.0, from adding the Data Management (DM) domain to supporting modern methodologies such as Agile and DevSecOps. The new version also expands virtual work (EVW) capabilities, aligns operational domains to suit specific contexts, and maintains consistency in terminology, making it easier for businesses to transform and adapt to global and digital trends.
