"At noon on June 14th, Vinaphone experienced a technical issue, disrupting communication for customers in some areas. Currently, Vinaphone's technical team is working urgently to resolve the issue, and it is gradually being fixed," Vinaphone announced.
By 3 PM the same day, the telecommunications company announced that the connection issue had been completely resolved. VinaPhone apologized and hoped for customers' understanding. However, some users reported still experiencing intermittent signal problems.
According to Google Trends statistics, from 11 AM on the same day, the keywords "VinaPhone outage," "VinaPhone signal loss," and "VinaPhone network outage" saw a sudden surge in searches. These searches originated from users in 16 provinces and cities across all three regions of Vietnam, including Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. This indicates that the outage affected users nationwide. Prior to this time, the number of searches for these keywords was negligible.
On the company's official fan page, the latest posts also received a series of negative comments from users about disruptions to voice, messaging, and 4G services.

"For nearly two hours, I didn't receive any notifications from OTT apps, even though my work often requires me to text and communicate. Only when I checked again did I realize my phone had no 4G connection due to a VinaPhone outage," said Hai Nam, a VinaPhone user in Hanoi.
On social media, many users have encountered similar problems. Even many phone sellers have had to inform customers that the fault lies with the network provider, not the device, because VinaPhone had not issued an official statement when the issue began.
VinaPhone is currently the second-largest telecommunications company in Vietnam, holding 22.8% of the market share and with over 30 million subscribers, behind Viettel with 56.6%.
