Vincom Retail Joint Stock Company (stock code: VRE) has just announced that it has dismissed Ms. Tran Mai Hoa from the position of General Director since April 22.
At the same time, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien was appointed from Deputy General Director of Sales and Marketing to the position of General Director to replace Ms. Tran Mai Hoa.
Notably, Ms. Hoa was recently appointed as General Director and Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Vincom Retail on March 18. This appointment replaces the position of General Director of Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien.
Previously, in October 2023, Ms. Hien, who was holding the position of Deputy General Director of Sales and Marketing at Vincom Retail, was appointed General Director to replace Ms. Tran Mai Hoa.

Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien joined Vincom Retail in 2014 and held the position of Sales Director in charge of chain customers, large customers and international customers. In March 2021, she became Deputy General Director in charge of sales and marketing.
Vincom Retail's key leadership changes took place one day before the 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 23.
According to documents from Vincom Retail's recent 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, the company said it would dismiss Ms. Thai Thi Thanh Hai and Ms. Le Mai Lan from their positions as members of the Board of Directors.
At the same time, an additional member of the Board of Directors was elected for the 2023-2028 term. The candidate for this position is Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam, currently General Director of Berjaya Group in Vietnam.
In 2024, Vincom Retail targets net revenue of VND 9,500 billion and after-tax profit of VND 4,420 billion, a slight increase compared to the results achieved in 2023 based on the economic outlook and a more prosperous business environment in 2024.
By the end of 2024, Vincom plans to open 6 new shopping malls, including 2 Vincom Mega Mall shopping malls and 4 Vincom Plaza shopping malls, with a total retail floor area of about 171,000 m2 , bringing the total number of shopping malls to 89 in 48 out of 63 provinces and cities.
