Vincom Retail appoints a new General Director.

(NLĐO) - Notably, Ms. Tran Mai Hoa was only reappointed as General Director of Vincom Retail on March 18th to replace Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien.

Vincom Retail Joint Stock Company (stock code: VRE) has just announced that it has dismissed Ms. Tran Mai Hoa from her position as General Director effective April 22nd.

At the same time, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien was appointed from Deputy General Director of Sales and Marketing to the position of General Director, replacing Ms. Tran Mai Hoa.

Notably, Ms. Hoa was recently appointed as the General Director and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vincom Retail on March 18th. This appointment replaces Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien as General Director.

Previously, in October 2023, Ms. Hien, while serving as Deputy General Director of Sales and Marketing at Vincom Retail, was appointed as General Director, replacing Ms. Tran Mai Hoa.

Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien joined Vincom Retail in 2014 and held the position of Sales Director, managing chain store, large customer, and international customer groups. In March 2021, she became Deputy General Director in charge of sales and marketing.

The change in key leadership at Vincom Retail took place one day before the 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 23rd.

According to documents from Vincom Retail's recent 2023 Annual General Meeting, the company announced that it will dismiss Ms. Thai Thi Thanh Hai and Ms. Le Mai Lan from their positions as members of the Board of Directors.

At the same time, an additional member was elected to the Board of Directors for the term 2023-2028. The candidate for this position is Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam, currently the General Director of Berjaya Group in Vietnam.

In 2024, Vincom Retail aims for net revenue of VND 9,500 billion and after-tax profit of VND 4,420 billion, a slight increase compared to 2023 results, based on the more favorable economic outlook and business environment in 2024.

Looking ahead to the end of 2024, Vincom plans to open 6 new shopping malls, including 2 Vincom Mega Malls and 4 Vincom Plazas, with a total retail floor area of ​​approximately 171,000 ^m² , bringing the total number of shopping malls to 89 in 48 out of 63 provinces and cities.
