According to the resolution, Vung Liem ward was established based on the existing natural area and population size of Trung Thanh commune. The remaining 15 wards were established based on the existing natural area and population size of the communes with the same names.
The establishment of wards aims to concretize the policy of rearranging and reorganizing administrative units in conjunction with the urbanization process, perfecting the urban management model and enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in the area. In addition, it aligns with the urban spatial development orientation, expands the scope of urban management, and improves the quality of local governance towards a civilized and modern direction. Simultaneously, it contributes to mobilizing, managing, and effectively utilizing investment resources, promoting the shift in economic structure towards trade, services, industry, and urbanization, creating momentum for socio-economic development, gradually completing urban criteria, and improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.
