Vinpearl has a new general manager.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Ms. Ngo Thi Huong has been appointed General Director of Vinpearl, replacing Mr. Dang Thanh Thuy. Ms. Huong joined the Vingroup ecosystem in 2017 and has held many important positions.

Vinpearl Joint Stock Company (stock code: VPL) has officially appointed Ms. Ngo Thi Huong as General Director, replacing Mr. Dang Thanh Thuy.

"The company stated that the appointment of Ms. Ngo Thi Huong is a step aimed at strengthening leadership capacity, continuing to maintain sustainable growth momentum, and expanding the company's position in the Vietnamese tourism and resort market," Vinpearl said.

According to the introduction, Ms. Ngo Thi Huong (born in 1982) holds a Master's degree from the University of London (UK) and certifications from many prestigious domestic and international professional organizations: the Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA, CGMA), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Vietnam Association of Auditors (VACPA), and the Vietnam Tax Consultants Association (VTCA).

Having joined the Vingroup ecosystem in 2017, she previously held key positions at Vincom Logistics Company Limited and Vinpearl Joint Stock Company.

Previously, on December 25th, the company issued an unusual notice to the State Securities Commission and the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, stating that it had received the resignation of Mr. Dang Thanh Thuy, General Director and Legal Representative of Vinpearl. Mr. Thuy joined the company in 2004.

According to the Q3 financial report, Vinpearl recorded net revenue from core business operations of VND 3,094 billion, an increase of 28% compared to the same period last year; gross profit of VND 819 billion, more than 7 times higher than the same period in 2024, and after-tax profit of VND 169 billion.

For the first nine months of the year, total operating revenue reached VND 12,700 billion, of which net revenue from hotel services across the entire system was approximately VND 8,100 billion (a 27% increase), and after-tax profit exceeded VND 428 billion. Vinpearl currently manages and operates 58 properties in 20 provinces and cities.
