According to AppleInsider , Apple's introduction of Vision Pro may be beneficial for productivity in the workplace, but in some cases it will deliver tremendous value. Most notably, this could potentially give surgeons "superpowers."

Surgeons will benefit from the technology on Vision Pro.

This was shared by Dr. Rafael Grossmann, a general surgeon with a background in robotic surgery and the first person to live-stream a surgery using Google Glass. Dr. Grossmann believes that Vision Pro can be very helpful in the surgical process, as information plays a crucial role in the patient's survival.

"In the operating room, you're collecting data in mixed reality, which gives you real-time, synchronized information to perform the surgery safely," Dr. Grossmann explained about the mixed reality technology he is using.

According to the doctor, this technology "allows you to avoid having to turn your head to where you place the computer." Using spatial computing, the screen can be placed anywhere in the room and, in the case of surgery, can be within the wearer's line of sight.

In addition to the aforementioned activities, Dr. Grossmann suggests that Vision Pro could be used in other ways, such as providing a stronger connection between doctors and patients. For example, a digital assistant could be displayed to the doctor to handle basic tasks such as taking notes or retrieving information from patient records.
