Vu Thuy Linh and "The Melodious Silk Threads"

Composer Luu Quang Minh commented that Vu Thuy Linh is very conscious of improving her knowledge in many fields, something that few singers can do.

Instead of following the crowd, Vu Thuy Linh took her own path – transforming paradoxes into logic, giving her song "Silk Threads of Melody" its unique style.

In this special album, the singer presents listeners with the Xẩm folk song "Công cha ngãi mẹ sinh thành," the Quan Họ folk song "Lúng liếng," the Chèo folk song "Luyện năm cung," and the Chầu Văn folk song "Chầu Năm suối Lân." She selected original folk songs and performed them with a symphony orchestra. The youthful energy in her voice, combined with the classical and modern arrangements by composer Lưu Quang Minh, has made these familiar folk songs feel fresh and new.

Composer Luu Quang Minh commented that Vu Thuy Linh is very conscious of cultivating her knowledge in many fields, something few singers can do. Linh is diligent in learning and very determined to perform the best possible work. In "The Melodious Sound of Silk," Vu Thuy Linh doesn't sing in a heavily folk style, nor does she overly showcase a classical "style," which makes her music unique.

Immediately after "Tơ đồng thánh thót," Vũ Thùy Linh was invited by musician Huy Tuấn to participate in the Hò Zô program, a major international music festival in Ho Chi Minh City in December 2024.
