As is customary, during the annual Hung Temple Festival and the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week, along with other localities in the province, the Party Committee, government, departments, mass organizations, and people of Doan Hung district respectfully turn their thoughts towards Hung Temple to express gratitude for the merits of their ancestors and forefathers who contributed to building and defending the nation.

Accordingly, the district completed the installation of the cultural camp, designed in the style of the stilt houses of the Cao Lan ethnic group, before March 25th (February 26th according to the lunar calendar). Simultaneously, cultural and artistic activities, exhibitions, and presentations of characteristic products of the ethnic groups in the district were organized at the cultural camp.
Directly participating in the exhibition and introduction of the district's products at the cultural camp, Ms. Le Thi Cham – an officer of the District Agricultural Service Center – said: Every year, during the Hung Temple Festival, farmers from all localities in the district want to introduce their typical local products to friends and tourists from near and far. This year, the products displayed and introduced at the cultural camp are mainly typical OCCOP products of the district such as: Doan Hung pomelo, pomelo flower essence, pomelo essential oil, pomelo peel jam, products from tea plants, Vu Quang noodles, Khoai Den sticky rice, Hung Long honey, along with clean agricultural products grown according to organic processes without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides...

Furthermore, during the festival days, at the Doan Hung District Cultural Camp, Phu Bung Hill, Hung Temple Historical Site, there will be performances of unique folk dances and typical folk games of the Cao Lan ethnic group. There will also be a cultural exchange program between 4 Xoan clubs from 3 communes (Tay Coc, Chan Mong, and Hung Long) and 14 amateur performing arts groups from 14 communes and towns in the district...
Assigned as the main unit responsible for developing the design plan for the cultural camp and cultural programs and activities at the festival, Mr. Tran Duc Bien – Chairman of the Ngoc Quan Commune People's Committee – informed: The Ngoc Quan Commune People's Committee has closely coordinated with the District's Center for Culture, Sports, Tourism and Communication, and mobilized the participation of the entire political system and local people in building the cultural camp to ensure it is reasonable, balanced, harmonious, and aesthetically pleasing, fitting the allocated area with the surrounding landscape, creating favorable conditions for cultural activities at the camp. Regarding cultural and artistic activities, in the program featuring the "Chim Gâu - Xúc Tép" dance and Sinh Ca singing, a new feature this year is that, along with artisans and amateur performers, the commune has selected 13 talented children aged 10-12 to practice and perform. Through this, we affirm the transmission and continuation of traditional culture, while simultaneously building a new generation of leaders in preserving and safeguarding local cultural heritage.
The Doan Hung district rowing team is actively training to prepare as best as possible for the Viet Tri Open Rowing Competition.
Along with cultural and artistic activities, the district also established a rowing team with 30 members including: 1 team leader, 1 coach, 1 medical officer and 27 athletes (1 helmsman, 1 commander, 20 official rowers and 5 reserve athletes). The People's Committee of Hop Nhat commune was tasked with coordinating with the District's Center for Culture, Sports, Tourism and Communication to organize training for the team and to participate in the Viet Tri Open Rowing Competition.
Comrade Nguyen Van Chung – Chairman of the People's Committee of Hop Nhat commune, said: The members participating in the Doan Hung district rowing team this year mainly come from Van Tap, Van Cuong 1, 2 areas of Hop Nhat commune... who work as fishermen and boatmen, and have experience on the river. Before the competition, the members diligently practiced on the Lo River and at Van Lang Park lake with the determination to achieve high results in this year's competition.
With the involvement of the entire political system and the collective efforts and unity of the people, Doan Hung district hopes to create a positive and memorable impression on tourists during the Hung Temple Festival and the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week. This is also an opportunity for the district to introduce and promote its potential and advantages in culture, tourism, cuisine, etc., thereby contributing to socio-economic development and spreading the unique cultural features of the locality.
