For the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, Chu Van An Ethnic Boarding Primary School (Tra Tap commune) will have 20 classes with 471 students, of which over 98% are children from ethnic minority communities. To overcome the teacher shortage, the school has contracted an additional 7 teachers this year, ensuring two teaching sessions per day.

According to Principal Truong Cong Mot, due to the mountainous terrain and fragmented transportation, in addition to effectively encouraging students to attend classes, the school has also invested in facilities and developed teaching plans that are appropriate for the new situation.

"Following the school year guidelines and Circular 4640 from the Ministry of Education and Training, we have adjusted teaching data to suit the specific characteristics of the two-tiered local government and changes in administrative boundaries, ensuring that the curriculum is implemented fully and scientifically," Mr. Mot said.

To assist parents and students with enrollment procedures, the Tra Tap Commune Public Administrative Service Center, in coordination with schools, the police, and relevant departments, compiles lists and processes online applications for residents.

“Many villages are far from the commune center, making travel very difficult for residents. With the new school year about to begin, the number of people needing administrative services will increase significantly. Therefore, we are implementing online procedures for birth registration, poverty confirmation, residence confirmation, etc., and sending the results directly to people's homes. This helps save time and effort for the people,” said Mr. Nguyen Do Tri, Deputy Director of the Public Administrative Service Center of Tra Tap Commune.

Meanwhile, at Kim Dong Primary School (Nam Tra My commune), investment in facilities and equipment has also been prioritized. Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, the school's principal, shared: “The school has proactively advised on the construction of a multi-purpose hall, a football field, and created a safe play space for students. We have also established clubs and applied digital data to facilitate management and teaching.”

According to Mr. Tran Van Man, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Tra My commune, the infrastructure, school system, and teaching staff in the area basically meet the needs.

“We have allocated staffing and professional contracts, ensuring that all schools have enough teachers for the new school year. Although there are still many difficulties, with the attention of the government, the proactive efforts of the education sector, and the efforts of teachers and students, the schools are basically ready and determined to provide students with a better learning environment and help them realize their dreams in the highlands,” Mr. Man said.
