Windows 11 will soon reveal weaknesses in PC hardware that need fixing.
According to information from the latest Windows 11 Dev Channel builds, Microsoft is quietly integrating a new FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section into the system settings. This FAQ will automatically analyze the PC's hardware configuration and provide warnings or suggestions related to performance. For example, if the RAM is too low or the GPU only has 4 GB of memory, users will receive a warning and upgrade suggestions.
This new feature will help users avoid having to guess about their PC's performance. Instead of using complex tools, they can easily check and evaluate performance directly within the Windows settings. This is especially useful for users who are not very knowledgeable about hardware.
Previously, Microsoft used the Windows Experience Index tool to evaluate PC performance. However, this feature has been removed. Integrating FAQs into system settings can be seen as a replacement for the Windows Experience Index, offering a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.
The appearance of this feature in Dev Channel builds suggests it's in the final stages of testing and may be released to Windows 11 users soon. However, Microsoft could also remove the feature if problems are discovered during testing.
