The program was attended by leaders of the Hanoi Cultural and Library Center; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Dan Hoa commune, along with representatives from various departments, organizations, agencies, businesses, officials, teachers, and students in the area.
The Dân Hòa Commune Community Library was built to meet the practical need for a space for reading, learning, and cultural activities serving the people. During its implementation, the library received attention from the local Party committee and government, as well as support from many organizations that donated numerous books, contributing to the formation of the library's initial collection.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Tran Thanh Tu, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Center for Culture and Library, highly appreciated the attention of Dan Hoa commune in investing in the construction of grassroots cultural institutions, affirming that putting the community library into operation will contribute to promoting the reading movement, meeting the learning, research, and entertainment needs of the people, while raising the intellectual level and building a healthy cultural and spiritual life in the locality.
In his directive speech, Comrade Dinh Huu Binh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Dan Hoa commune, emphasized that building a community library is one of the key tasks in the development of local culture and education ; he acknowledged the joint efforts of organizations and individuals in this meaningful project, and called on cadres, Party members, and the people to actively participate in the book donation movement and regularly visit the library to read and study, thereby spreading the reading culture.
At the event, the People's Committee of Dan Hoa commune announced the Decision to establish the Dan Hoa Community Library, donated books to schools in the area, and held an inauguration ceremony to officially put the library into operation.
With its well- organized space and continuously expanding collection of resources, the Dan Hoa Commune Community Library is expected to become a cultural, learning, and community activity hub, contributing to the development of a learning society and improving the quality of life for the people.
