The entire fleet uses the VinFast Limo Green model, a purely electric MPV, marking an expansion from the previous 4-seater segment.
Notably different from the familiar cyan color of SM Car Blue or SM Premium Blue, the SM Limo Blue line comes in gray or black, targeting high-end customers.
To date, the Green SM ecosystem includes various services such as Green SM Car and Green SM Premium (4-seater taxis), Green SM Airport (airport taxis), Green SM Bike (motorcycles), Green SM Express (delivery), and Green SM Ngon (food delivery).
According to reports, the ride-hailing market has become more vibrant with the entry of numerous "newcomers" such as Tada and Moovtek. Tada has attracted attention with its 0% commission policy, allowing drivers to retain their full income even with limited customer numbers.
Meanwhile, Moovtek launched a ride-sharing service in October, with prices 10-20% lower than the average, targeting budget-conscious users.
Even the fast delivery platform Lalamove is venturing into ride-hailing services. From Q4 2025, users in Ho Chi Minh City will be able to book motorbikes, 4-seater or 7-seater cars directly through the app.
Ride-hailing apps are partnering with electric vehicle manufacturers to support drivers in switching to electric vehicles, opening up a trend in the taxi market that is strongly developing towards the use of electric vehicles instead of gasoline or diesel vehicles as before.
