The entire fleet uses the VinFast Limo Green model, a pure electric MPV, marking an expansion from the previous 4-seat segment.
Notably different from the familiar blue-green color of SM Car Green or SM Premium Green, the SM Limo Green line has a gray or black color, aimed at high-end customers.
Up to now, the Xanh SM ecosystem includes many services: Xanh SM Car and Xanh SM Premium (4-seat taxi), Xanh SM Airport (airport taxi), Xanh SM Bike (two-wheeled vehicle), Xanh SM Express (delivery) and Xanh SM Ngon (food delivery).
According to records, the technology-based ride-hailing market has become more vibrant with the entry of a series of "newcomers" such as Tada or Moovtek. Tada has attracted attention with its 0% discount policy, helping drivers keep their full income even though the number of customers is still limited.
Meanwhile, Moovtek launched a carpooling service in October, with prices 10-20% lower than the average, targeting users who like to save money.
Even the fast delivery platform Lalamove is also expanding into ride-hailing. From the fourth quarter of 2025, users in Ho Chi Minh City will be able to book motorbikes, 4- or 7-seat cars directly on this application.
Ride-hailing apps are partnering with electric vehicle manufacturers to support drivers in switching to electric vehicles, opening up a trend for the taxi market to grow strongly towards using electric vehicles instead of gasoline and diesel vehicles as before.
