They engage in subversive activities with extremely sophisticated and cunning schemes and tactics, such as manipulating images and setting up fake websites, Telegram groups, Facebook pages, and YouTube channels to spread harmful and toxic information aimed at opposing the Party, the State, and the Army; taking advantage of the time when our country is streamlining its apparatus and implementing a two-tiered local government system to relentlessly oppose, distort, and cause public confusion...
Lieutenant Colonel Pham Phu Trieu, Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Provincial Military Command, informed: As the standing agency of the Steering Committee 35 of the Provincial Military Party Committee, the political agency has advised the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command and guided the 47th Force at all levels to carry out the fight against cybercrime very effectively; constantly monitoring websites hour by hour, minute by minute to promptly detect and report to leaders, commanders and superior agencies to have appropriate and effective solutions to combat it, thereby contributing to limiting harmful and toxic information on the internet, maintaining the Party's ideological front in the new situation.
Lieutenant Colonel Quách Hữu Thính, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Command of Hưng Mỹ commune (third from the left) , instructs the permanent militia force to participate in commenting and fighting on the internet.
Simultaneously, agencies and units within the provincial armed forces established numerous social media pages and groups to disseminate positive information, creating a "shield" in cyberspace. Each week, they posted 15,000-17,000 articles and videos, attracting over 51,000 interactions. This created a ripple effect, guided public opinion, stabilized the morale of the troops, and promptly thwarted the "peaceful evolution" schemes and tactics of hostile forces aimed at undermining the Party and the State.
Along with the fight against corruption, Force 47 promptly detected and blocked 14 malicious accounts, coordinated with relevant agencies to remove 172 comments containing negative content and subversive activities against the Party, State, and Army; and requested the handling of many cases of spreading false information on social media.
The provincial armed forces units focus on effectively carrying out propaganda and education work to raise awareness among officers and soldiers.
At the conference summarizing the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, the Provincial Military Party Committee determined to continue strengthening the management of troops in internet use, promoting the application of technology, proactively providing official information, promptly guiding public opinion, and avoiding being caught off guard by distorted narratives.
Colonel Le Quang Luat, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, emphasized: In the coming time, it is necessary to promote the role of the Steering Committee 35 and Force 47, strengthen leadership, direction, and strict management, while proactively spreading positive information, contributing to consolidating the people's trust in the Party, the State, and the Army.
As the country enters a new stage of development, cyberspace continues to be a "hot front." This requires every officer and soldier of the armed forces in Ca Mau province to uphold a high sense of responsibility, actively combat and refute erroneous viewpoints, and firmly protect the ideological foundation of the Party.
