Spring has arrived in Giang Lo 2 village, Sa Loong commune. Here, nearly 80% of the population are ethnic minorities whose lives have long been tied to small rice paddies. Previously, the old rice varieties yielded low productivity and were difficult to sell, meaning the villagers couldn't even afford a proper Tet (Lunar New Year). This season, thanks to support with ST25 rice seeds, 40 households have planted nearly 11 hectares. The new rice variety produces firm grains, fetches a higher price, and brings joy, making spring in this highland region even more abundant.
Thanks to practical support policies from the State, many disadvantaged families in Ia Chim commune have gradually stabilized their lives. Experience from many localities shows that national target programs are being implemented in ethnic minority areas. From supporting businesses to investing in roads, electricity, water, and essential infrastructure, these are gradually being improved, and people's lives are becoming increasingly prosperous.

As spring arrives, rice fields burst into bloom, cattle herds grow larger, and new roads stretch out, bringing joy. Thanks to sound policies and the efforts of the people, the lives of ethnic minorities are improving day by day. This spring, the highlands are filled with faith and aspirations for progress.
