The officers and soldiers of the 594th Air Defense Company are always striving to train and make every effort to fulfill their assigned tasks.

On May 10, 1994, the Ministry of National Defense decided to establish the 594th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Company. Over the past 30 years, under the leadership of the 4th Military Region Command and the Provincial Military Command, the 594th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Company has continuously grown stronger. The officers and soldiers of the unit, together with the military and people of the province, have always been united, overcoming countless difficulties and hardships, always upholding the boundless loyalty and unwavering determination of the heroic soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army, always ready to accept and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

First Lieutenant Nguyen Van Cong, Company Commander of the 594th Air Defense Company, Staff Department, stated: "Our unit is responsible for maintaining combat readiness for the Provincial Military Command and, in particular, carries the mission of protecting the safety of Phu Bai International Airport and safeguarding the peaceful airspace of Thua Thien Hue province. Therefore, over the years, generations of officers and soldiers of the unit have clearly defined their roles and responsibilities, constantly striving to study and train to improve their combat readiness skills and capabilities, not shying away from hardship and sacrifice, always ready to accept and excellently complete tasks in all situations."

In addition to training and combat readiness duties, the 594th Air Defense Company also performs well in civilian affairs, helping the people overcome the consequences of natural disasters, storms, floods, forest fires, and participating in the construction of new rural areas. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the unit's officers and soldiers spared no effort, working together with local Party committees and authorities to prepare centralized quarantine areas, organize the reception and quarantine of citizens returning from epidemic areas, making a significant contribution to the province's efforts in maintaining the epidemic prevention and control posture.

Particularly during the historic floods of 1999, with their significant contributions, the 594th Air Defense Company was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of National Defense for its outstanding achievements in helping people overcome the floods. With the continuous efforts of generations of officers and soldiers, for six consecutive years from 2017 to 2022, the 594th Air Defense Company was awarded the title of "Unit of Decisive Victory" by the Military Region Command, and in 2021, it received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister for achieving the title of "Unit of Decisive Victory" for five consecutive years.

First Lieutenant Le Cong Chuc, Political Officer of the 594th Air Defense Company, shared that although the unit was established not long ago, the efforts of countless generations of officers and soldiers have built a unit that is always determined to fight and win, and is supported and trusted by the local Party committee, government, and people. Over the years, the unit's Party committee and command have always focused on building willpower and resilience so that 100% of officers and soldiers are always ready to accept and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

Building upon the achievements already made, the current generation of officers and soldiers of the 594th Air Defense Company are constantly striving to study, train, and work hard to successfully fulfill their training and combat readiness tasks, as well as the unexpected missions of the provincial armed forces. Most importantly, they are ready to fight and sacrifice to protect the safety of Phu Bai International Airport, safeguard the peaceful airspace of Thua Thien Hue, firmly protect the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and bring peace and happiness to the people. From this, they continue to cultivate the revolutionary spirit and noble qualities of the Ho Chi Minh Army, ready to accept and excellently complete all tasks entrusted by the Party, State, Army, and People.
