The valuation was provided by the CIES Football Observatory, a research center specializing in football statistics analysis, part of the International Centre for Sport Studies (CIES) and based in Neuchatel, Switzerland.

CIES Football Observatory is renowned for publishing reports on player transfer values, team profiles, and other statistical analyses of football worldwide .

To determine the value of players like Yamal, CIES takes into account several factors such as age, playing position, performance, contract duration, and market trends. Based on this analysis, Yamal is the best young player in the world at the moment.

Following Yamal on the list of the world's most valuable players is 18-year-old Brazilian striker Estevao Willian (Chelsea), valued at €118 million. Yamal's teammate at Barca, Pau Cubarsi (18 years old), ranks third with a value of €113 million.

This confirms that Barca's La Masia remains the world's leading youth academy.
