Yamal gets record price

To value players like Yamal, CIES takes into account a number of factors such as age, playing position, performance, contract length and market trends. From this analysis, Yamal is the best young player in the world at the moment.

Following Yamal in the list of the most valuable players in the world is 18-year-old Brazilian striker Estevao Willian (Chelsea), with a value of 118 million euros. Yamal's teammate at Barca, Pau Cubarsi (18), is in third place with a value of 113 million euros.
