Yen Bai - This morning - June 2, 6 Yen Bai candidates entered the first day of the entrance exam to enroll in 9.928th grade high school and 10th grade, Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted in the school year 6-2023.
The whole province organized 27 councils to consider the entrance exam to grade 10 and 1 to review the survey of admission to grade 6 Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted with 393 exam rooms.
The total number of candidates registered to enter the 10th grade high school is 9.555, of which 361 students were directly recruited by winning first, second, third and consolation prizes in cultural and scientific and technical competitions at provincial level. 373 candidates registered to apply for 6th grade, Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted will take the test in 16 exam rooms; increased 37 candidates, 2 rooms compared to 2022.

In the morning of June 2, the candidates will take the first exam, which is Literature, in the form of an essay with a duration of 6 minutes. In the afternoon, the candidates took the English test in the form of multiple choice.
On June 3, students will take the Math exam with a 6-minute test time. After Math, students who take the entrance exam to Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted will continue to take the exam in specialized subjects, concurrently with the time of the entrance exam to grade 90.
According to the Regulations, this year, the exam will continue to be exempted and 10 points will be calculated for the entrance exam for students who have an English certificate of level 3 or higher according to the 6-level competency framework for Vietnam or the equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training and valid until the date of the exam, excluding the specialized English test. Particularly, Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted increased the enrollment quota and did not hold pre-qualification for students entering grade 10.
