Author Truong Huy (Nguyen Xuan Truong), born in 1973, is a member of the Ninh Binh Provincial Association of Literature and Arts.

As a civil servant working at the Party Committee of Tay Hoa Lu ward, author Truong Huy (Nguyen Xuan Truong) came to photography out of love and dedication to his hometown of Ninh Binh. Through his images, he hopes to preserve the cultural and historical values of this ancient capital region.

Having traveled extensively and seen many beautiful sights, the further he went, the more deeply he felt his love for his homeland. It held not only beautiful scenery but also childhood memories and a sense of peace upon returning. For him, photography was not just a passion but also a means of spreading beauty and promoting the image of his hometown.

Persistently pursuing his passion for photography as a way of documenting social life, his work focuses on landscapes, heritage sites, traditional festivals, and community cultural activities. Through this, he expresses a genuine, emotionally rich perspective, deeply connected to the people and cultural spaces of the local area.

Each artwork tells a unique and meaningful story about the land and people of Ninh Binh: Tam Coc wharf, a small corner of Trang An, a symphony amidst the reeds, village stories under the shade of ancient communal houses, the second most beautiful cave in Nam Thien, the pink hues on the Ngo Dong river, the scent of incense accompanying the procession of the Saints, the heart of the heritage region...

The photo series "Thung Nham - When the Birds Return" depicts a majestic yet peaceful natural landscape that captivates the heart, while also serving as a reminder of the responsibility to preserve the environment for all living things. The work about the sacred water-carrying ritual expresses gratitude, respect for the source of life, and affirms the cultural and historical value of Hoa Lu..., the ancient capital region, beautifully and alluringly captured through Truong Huy's lens.

Through his diligent and serious work, he has won numerous awards at photography competitions both within and outside the province.
