According to regulations from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, today (June 27th) is the deadline for confirming enrollment for students admitted to 10th grade in public high schools for the 2026-2027 school year. Students who have not completed the procedures should do so urgently to ensure their enrollment rights.
For public high schools and specialized high schools, students can confirm their enrollment in two ways: online through the city's primary school enrollment portal or in person at the school where they have been admitted.
Meanwhile, private high schools, autonomous public schools, vocational education and continuing education centers, and vocational training institutions only confirm enrollment in person.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training notes that confirming enrollment is a mandatory procedure for students who have been admitted. After completing the confirmation, if students and parents wish to submit enrollment documents immediately, they can do so at the school according to the school's instructions.
During the application process, students need to prepare their Grade 10 entrance exam results slip issued by the educational institution where they registered for the exam, along with other documents required by the school they have been admitted to. Parents should also carefully check their child's personal information before completing the application to avoid any necessary corrections later.
For candidates who have submitted applications for exam review, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training notes that if the review results change the admission outcome, students will be guided to confirm enrollment and complete their application at the school they were admitted to after the review, according to the schedule from July 10th to 12th.
The entrance exam for 10th grade in public high schools in Hanoi for the 2026-2027 school year will have more than 124,000 candidates.
According to the published results, 102,243 students were admitted to public high schools, equivalent to more than 80% of the candidates who took the exam.
Students and parents need to closely monitor the enrollment timelines and complete all required procedures to ensure their educational rights in the new school year.
