During the Literature exam, several incidents occurred. At the Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School examination center, an invigilator experienced stomach pain while on duty, was taken to the medical room for treatment, and was excused from invigilating in the afternoon.
At the Long Truong Secondary School examination center, two candidates experienced health problems during the exam. One candidate had to be hospitalized and was assisted by the examination center in being taken to a medical facility and guided through the procedures for special consideration as per regulations. Another candidate fainted immediately after receiving the exam paper, received care in the medical room, and returned to the examination room to take the exam after recovering, without being given extra time.

At the Ly Thuong Kiet Secondary School examination center (Binh Tri Dong ward), three exam papers had printing errors. The examination board opened the backup papers to replace them. Due to the 3 to 5 minute delay in transporting the papers to the examination rooms, affected candidates were given extra time to complete their exams as per regulations.
Additionally, at the Nguyen Du Secondary School examination center (Tan Thoi Hoa ward), a candidate omitted page 2 of the exam paper and started working from page 3. The examination board provided guidance on how to handle the situation, recorded the incident in a report, and ensured the candidate continued working according to regulations.
After merging with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City has a population of approximately 14 million people. This year, the city recorded over 138,000 candidates registering for the high school graduation exam, the highest number nationwide.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has arranged 246 examination centers with more than 6,000 examination rooms, distributed across three areas: 188 centers in the former Ho Chi Minh City area, 30 centers in the former Binh Duong area, and 28 centers in the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau area. The city has also allocated a separate examination center in the Con Dao Special Zone.
Due to the large scale of the exam, this year's exam papers will be transported to the examination centers one day in advance, instead of on the morning of the exam as in previous years. For the Con Dao Special Zone, the exam papers and answer sheets will be transported by air.
Ho Chi Minh City randomly selected 10 examination locations across three areas to deploy handheld security scanners on both exam days. The scanning and verification process will be handled by the city police.
