The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced the training program standards for semiconductor microchips at the undergraduate and master's levels, applicable to universities participating in the Government's program "Developing human resources for the semiconductor industry to 2030, with a vision to 2050".
Accordingly, there are 38 majors at university level and 37 majors at master's level related to semiconductor microchips, which can participate in training human resources for the semiconductor industry, specifically as follows:

Regarding the entrance standards of the training program, according to regulations, candidates who want to study bachelor's or engineering programs in semiconductor microcircuits, if admitted based on high school graduation exam results, must use a combination of Math and at least one Natural Science subject suitable for the semiconductor microcircuit training program.
The total score of the subjects in the admission combination must reach at least 80% of the scale, for example, at least 24/30 for a combination of three subjects. In addition, the Math score must reach at least 80% of the scale, for example, at least 8/10.
For those who have a university degree, they must have a degree appropriate to the training program they are applying for and have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.8/4 or higher.
For students studying in another university major and transferring to semiconductor microchip major at the time of consideration, a GPA of 2.5/4 or higher is required.
For master's degree, undergraduate GPA requirement is 2.8/4 or higher.
