After 7 years of researching, preparing and experimenting with foliar fertilizer solutions, farmer, teacher and agricultural engineer Pham Ngoc Khanh (born in 1988) in Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat, has expanded the area of ​​use from chrysanthemums to vegetables and coffee trees in agricultural areas at an altitude of 1,000 - 1,500 m in Lam Dong province.

Farmer Nguyen Huu Phuc in Doi Tra area, Lam Vien ward - Da Lat, after about 2 years of reducing the majority of chemical fertilizers and pesticides to switch to using foliar fertilizer solution of Mr. Pham Ngoc Khanh (PNK01), has shown clear benefits. Mr. Phuc shared: "Using PNK01, I see that the chrysanthemum plants develop thick stems, thick green leaves, and have few pests. When harvested, the flower branches are large and uniform, the freshness time is longer, traders come to buy and consume quite quickly...". This is one of dozens of farmers using PNK01 product on chrysanthemum plants, significantly reducing input costs, increasing output revenue in Xuan Truong - Da Lat, Lam Vien - Da Lat, Cam Ly - Da Lat wards and Don Duong, Quang Lap, Nam Ban Lam Ha, Dinh Van Lam Ha communes of Lam Dong province.

From the results on chrysanthemum plants over the past 2 years, Mr. Pham Ngoc Khanh has been encouraged to continue to prepare and supplement microbial nutrients suitable for the absorption capacity of vegetable and coffee plants in the province. Farmer Dinh Van Minh, Dinh Van Lam Ha commune, stated that after many years of growing bell peppers, his family clearly understands that it is necessary to provide balanced nutrition for the plants to be healthy and produce fruit evenly. Through the connection with the local farmers' association, his family boldly experimented with the PNK01 foliar spray solution to replace most of the inorganic fertilizers. As a result, the bell pepper plants absorbed quickly, the fruit set rate was high, the fruits were large, shiny and very fresh in color, traders came to the garden to buy directly at a stable price...

Mr. Pham Ngoc Khanh said that to prepare the foliar fertilizer solution, he researched and mixed the ingredients of soybeans, rice husk ash, molasses, fish protein, seaweed, oyster shell powder, microbial salt... and then conducted the first experiment on his 3,000 m2 of chrysanthemums in Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat. After many years of practicing, evaluating, converting, and adding ingredients in the solution to achieve optimal effects through each batch of chrysanthemums on his home garden, Mr. Khanh has just begun to expand it to each chrysanthemum area of ​​​​farmers in the surrounding area. And it took many more years of hard work to analyze data on the use of PNK01 solution to come up with the most effective "answer" for other crops.

Farmer Nguyen Tan Danh, Phu Son commune, Lam Ha, verified that when using foliar fertilizer solution, it showed clear changes on coffee trees. Specifically, with coffee trees that have green, sturdy leaves, deep taproots, many fibrous roots, so they are less likely to fall or be affected by pests, farmers who brought them back to plant responded positively. With Kinh Do-Anh coffee trees, they recover quickly after harvest, the reserve branches are strong and healthy, the young shoots sprout strongly, thick and even, and the leaves are shiny and beautiful. When the time comes, the coffee trees bloom, the fruit set rate is high, and the fruit is harvested evenly.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh - former Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Xuan Tho Commune, old Da Lat City (now Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat), in the past, the Association has provided foliar fertilizer solution for farmers to use on a trial basis from chrysanthemum gardens to carrot gardens and other vegetables, achieving encouraging results. Chrysanthemum plants are strong, with thick stems, thick leaves, long-lasting flowers, and sell for good prices on the market. Carrot plants grow strongly, and the harvested tubers are large and round...

Farmer Dinh Van Minh, Dinh Van Lam Ha commune, said that growing bell peppers with balanced foliar fertilizers has produced uniform fruit and quick consumption.

Currently, Mr. Pham Ngoc Khanh is “extending” his research to create a new foliar fertilizer solution for fruit trees in the province. Hopefully, Mr. Khanh will continue to reap new successes, contributing to Lam Dong farmers in practically transforming the green and sustainable production process in the area.
