Quy Nhon is a large coastal city in the South Central region of Vietnam, located in Binh Dinh province. Viewed from above, Quy Nhon beach has an impressive, curving shape. Banh It Tower (Tuy Phuoc district) is one of the few remaining Cham Pa architectural and cultural complexes in Vietnam. Greeting the new day at Banh It Tower will be a unique experience when traveling to Binh Dinh province. The Thap Thap Di Da Pagoda (An Nhon town) has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture as a national historical and cultural relic. The pagoda is named Thap Thap (Ten Towers) because there were previously 10 Cham towers on this hill, which later collapsed. This is considered one of the most famous ancestral temples in Central Vietnam. The seated Buddha statue is part of the Linh Phong Pagoda spiritual tourism project (Ong Nui Pagoda, Phu Cat District). The statue is located at an altitude of 129m above sea level; including the pedestal and lotus base, the total height of the structure is 108m. In November 2017, the statue, considered the largest seated Buddha Shakyamuni in Southeast Asia at the time, was inaugurated. Below is a large temple called the Temple of Ten Thousand Buddhas. To reach the Linh Phong Pagoda gate and the giant seated Buddha statue, visitors must walk up approximately 600 stone and cement steps stretching from the foot of Ba Mountain to the summit. The Lang Song Minor Seminary (Tuy Phuoc district), built in the mid-19th century, was home to the first printing press in the Vietnamese Quốc ngữ script. The building features Gothic architecture, a characteristic style of European church construction. The Quang Trung Museum (Tay Son district) is one of the famous historical museums in Binh Dinh province, closely associated with the Tay Son Rebellion. The Quang Trung Museum was established on the site of the former home of Nguyen Hue's family. While visiting the Quang Trung Museum, tourists can also enjoy the Tay Son martial music performance. In addition, they can visit the ancient tamarind tree and the well, said to be over 250 years old and dating back to the Tay Son era. The Center for Scientific Exploration and Innovation (ExploraScience Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon City) commenced operations at the end of April 2022. It is considered the first space science center in Vietnam and the second in Southeast Asia (after Singapore). It features seven themed rooms: exploration , understanding the universe, the solar system, the Earth and natural resources, and the laws of nature… Con Chim Eco-tourism Area (Tuy Phuoc district) is like an oasis nestled amidst lush greenery – the blue of the water, the blue of the sky, and the green of the mangrove forest. Located in the middle of Thi Nai lagoon, this eco-tourism area boasts hundreds of hectares of mangrove forest, making it an ideal habitat for many bird species.
