In preparation for the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup, an AFC delegation conducted a survey of Binh Duong Stadium to assess the condition of the facilities needed to host a home match for the Vietnamese national team.
During the two-day survey (February 19th and 20th), the AFC delegation, in coordination with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province, and Binh Duong Club, conducted a detailed assessment of the stadium's condition, functional rooms, and lighting system. The results showed that most aspects met the standards for hosting an international match in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.
Needs adjustments, upgrades...
However, AFC representatives also proposed certain adjustments and upgrades to ensure compliance with the tournament's overall standards. The local organizing committee committed to quickly implementing and completing these items as soon as possible.

According to the draw for the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup, the Vietnamese national team is in Group F along with Malaysia, Nepal, and Laos. Matches will take place during FIFA Days from March 25, 2025 to March 31, 2026. At home, the Vietnamese team will play against Laos on March 25, 2025, against Nepal on October 9, 2025, and against Malaysia on March 31, 2026.
As part of the preparations for the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup, the Vietnamese national team will also have an international friendly match against the Cambodian national team at Binh Duong Stadium, scheduled for March 19th.
