ANTD.VN - Ajinomoto Vietnam Company has just introduced a new philosophy model, thereby committing to contribute to the health and happiness of Vietnamese people and society.

Mr. Tsutomu Nara, General Director of Ajinomoto Vietnam Company, presented the Company's new philosophy model.

Accordingly, the new philosophy model of Ajinomoto Vietnam includes 3 contents: "Purpose of existence", "Activities to create common value of Ajinomoto Group" and "Ajinomoto Group's way".

In which, the purpose of existence is emphasized as: "Contributing to bringing health and happiness to the people and society of Vietnam through providing quality products and valuable initiatives".

According to Mr. Tsutomu Nara, General Director of Ajinomoto Vietnam Company, “We believe that the existence and development of Ajinomoto Vietnam cannot be separated from the sustainable development of the Vietnamese people and society. That is why we established the above “Purpose of Existence”.

To realize the above purpose of existence, Ajinomoto Vietnam focuses on two main contents, which are providing quality products and valuable initiatives.

“With existing products, we will take advantage of our unique know-how in human resources and technology in providing seasoning products, food, and related products, ensuring food safety and hygiene, deliciousness, ease of processing, ease of use, and reasonable prices, typically Aji-ngon seasoning powder, Aji-mayo mayonnaise, Aji-Quick ready-to-use seasoning...

In addition, we focus on providing products that provide nutritional value and support mental health for consumers in today's busy modern life. Typical products include Blendy instant tea or Vtox rice vinegar drink...

In the future, we will provide more products for consumers' physical and mental health, leveraging the power of amino acids to maximize the lifetime value of consumers from the young generation to the elderly, thereby meeting the new needs, desires and concerns of future consumers, as well as further contributing to solving the nutritional and health problems of Vietnamese people" - General Director of Ajinomoto Vietnam said.

Along with quality products, valuable initiatives are being promoted by Ajinomoto Vietnam to contribute to improving nutrition, health and environmental conditions for the community such as: School Meals Project, Maternal and Child Nutrition Program, Vietnam Nutrition System Development Project (VINEP).

With the School Meal Project, Ajinomoto Vietnam Company has coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training, the National Institute of Nutrition ( Ministry of Health ) to implement and deploy at boarding primary schools nationwide since 2017, including the following contents: "Software to build a balanced nutritional menu", the nutrition education program "Three minutes to change awareness" and "Model boarding kitchen" according to Japanese standards.

According to Mr. Takayuki Kobuta - Director in charge of planning, up to now, the Project has been implemented in more than 4,262 boarding primary schools in provinces and cities nationwide, with more than 1.4 million students receiving benefits from the project.

In addition, in the field of sustainable development, Ajinomoto Vietnam Company not only complies with Ajinomoto Group's policies but also strictly complies with Vietnam's environmental regulations and laws.

More than 1.4 million students have benefited from the School Meals Project

According to Mr. Tsutomu Nara, Ajinomoto Vietnam has been implementing initiatives to minimize environmental impacts to achieve the goal of zero plastic waste and reduce greenhouse gas emissions not only at production facilities but also throughout the entire supply chain, for example through the use of renewable energy.

To be more specific, Mr. Tatsuya Nakayama - Director, in charge of production block 2 of Ajinomoto Vietnam Company said that the Company is implementing environmental initiatives in the following aspects:

First is reducing greenhouse gas emissions: The company aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 compared to 2018. Specific measures include installing a solar panel system at the Ajinomoto Long Thanh Factory this year and a biomass-fueled steam cogeneration system at the Ajinomoto Bien Hoa Factory; and will use electricity from renewable energy sources.

The company also aims to achieve Zero Plastic Waste by 2030. At the same time, there are initiatives to reduce food loss and waste (recycling 100% of food waste and eliminating food loss); Conserving water resources (applying stricter wastewater treatment standards than Vietnam's regulations).

General Director Tsutomu Nara affirmed: “In general, all our efforts are aimed at contributing to the health and happiness of the people and society of Vietnam. That purpose of existence is the driving force behind all our management activities, initiatives and the activities of each of our employees every day”.
