On the evening of March 23, the 3 Outstanding Vietnamese Young Face Award of the Central Youth Union honored singer Den Vau (Nguyen Duc Cuong) for his journey of persistent dedication throughout the past time.
Pass on a small flame to young people
From a young man who was an environmental sanitation worker, music led him to become a rapper who shines in the field of art and culture. But more specifically, fans also know him for his inspirational life journey and dedication.
Standing on the stage of the awards ceremony, he is still the same simple and straightforward Black that fans always see and love him, but most of all, he is humble.
Black delicately "stepped back" as he and the female MC shared about his persistent contributions. When the MC "subtly reminded" him to move forward a bit so that the light would shine, he sometimes appeared "embarrassed" and "nervous" to receive this honorable award.
"It is an honor, a great milestone in the artistic life as well as the life of Den Vau" - he confided.
Even when talking to the press on the sidelines of the award, Black humbly said he could not believe that he had received such a great honor. Also because the nominees for young faces are all young scientists, businessmen, and soldiers who have contributed silently to the country for many years.
But Black's music also extends beyond just a group of fans. Not only does it enter the hearts of rap music listeners, but his music also enters the hearts of young people, inspiring many people of many different ages.
“Through the award, Black realized that he had passed a small flame to young people. They are people who always want to contribute and give their youth to their homeland, to the Fatherland, they just need to find the right way to do it, with the right direction from mass organizations" - Den said.
Music is imbued with human love
Tonight, Den also spent a little more time talking about the projects he and his friends have done over the past time.
He admitted that his original goal, as well as the words he wrote in the song, was to just hope that one day his head would be less heavy and less tired by going to the highlands to bring smiles to the children.
But not only Black but all of us understand one thing: "When we give love and happiness, we ourselves also receive happiness many times greater."
First of all, Black wants to regain his own happiness, make his mind comfortable, relaxed, and peaceful. But then music led the hearts to beat in unison, moving towards the children in the remote highlands who still had many needs.
So Den has found a way for everyone to join hands and unite together to do good and spread it to the community.
“In addition to bringing in material goods, the most important thing is that we unite together, human love is enhanced and then, Black's musical environment in particular will be imbued with human love. This human love is not created by Black but lies within every Vietnamese person" - he confided.
He also thanked the fans who always followed him. From an ordinary person to an artist, Den said it was a great blessing, and he thought he had a responsibility to repay that blessing.
Black said that he always feels like he is "in debt" to the audience and he wants to do more to "repay" everyone. Even though I know that I will never be able to pay it off in this life...
Although he can't promise anything in advance because it depends on his creative inspiration, Den says in his heart he always wants to do more, to create songs that bring positivity and encouragement to everyone and to his beloved audience. dear.
“Dear Den Vau, we thank you very much.”
Recently, Den Vau used all profits of nearly 700 million to build schools for highland children in Lai Chau and Cao Bang. He and his fellow Amnesians also gave the gift of an information technology room to the students of Tuong Duong Ethnic Boarding School (Nghe An).
The program's organizers connected the images of students in the mountainous region of Nghe An. The moment he saw the children, Black's eyes sparkled with happiness.
“What Black does is just to give that help, to give children a gentle stepping stone to a more comfortable life. Den hopes that in the future, they will strive to develop, contribute to their homeland, contribute to the country and develop themselves" - Den thought.
