Recently, Lindo (26 years old, an Angolan vlogger with over 500,000 YouTube subscribers) – a familiar face to Vietnamese netizens as a close friend of Quang Linh Vlogs in their African group – made his first trip to Vietnam.

During this trip to Vietnam, because Quang Linh had a busy schedule, Lindo was welcomed by the parents of a close friend from Nghe An who came to Hanoi to explore and experience the culture and cuisine of the capital.

Lindo, an Angolan YouTuber quite popular with Vietnamese netizens, recently traveled to Vietnam. He enjoyed riding a motorbike and strolling through the streets of Hanoi (Image taken from a video clip).

On his first morning in Hanoi, Lindo was taken by his friends to a restaurant on Trung Kinh Street, Cau Giay District, to enjoy chicken pho. The Angolan man also revealed that pho was the first dish he wanted to try when traveling in Vietnam.

As soon as he entered the restaurant, Lindo was overwhelmed and delighted by the attention and greetings from the Vietnamese customers around him. Everyone recognized the familiar, famous member of the African group and eagerly asked to take photos with him. In response, Lindo happily and comfortably posed for pictures and shook hands with everyone.

After just a few minutes' wait, the 26-year-old vlogger was served a generous, steaming bowl of chicken pho, its broth emitting a mouthwatering aroma. He also showed his discerning palate, slowly squeezing some lemon into his bowl, ordering iced tea to accompany it, and politely inviting everyone to enjoy it.

After trying chicken pho for the first time in Hanoi, the African visitor repeatedly praised its deliciousness, to the point of finishing all the broth and ordering another serving "to satisfy his craving" (Image taken from a video clip).

Eager to take his first spoonful of broth, Lindo was pleasantly surprised by its delicious flavor. He mentioned that he had eaten Vietnamese pho in Angola, but he felt that the pho in Vietnam was still tastier and more impressive.

Following instructions, the African tourist carefully dipped the crispy fried dough sticks into the pho broth and enjoyed it. He repeatedly praised the dish and quickly finished his bowl of chicken pho, slurping up all the broth. Still not satisfied, he ordered a second bowl and devoured that as well.

"I have to admit, Vietnamese food is really delicious," Lindo commented.

After finishing breakfast with a full stomach, Lindo and his companions took a stroll down the narrow alley. Many people recognized him, shaking his hand and chatting animatedly. The friendliness and hospitality of the Vietnamese, even though he had never met them before, deeply moved the Angolan man.

Besides pho, Lindo also had the opportunity to enjoy many other dishes in Hanoi during his exploration of the capital. He was taken by others to try many popular and familiar Vietnamese dishes such as fertilized duck eggs, banh mi sandwiches, bun dau mam tom (vermicelli with tofu and shrimp paste), and enjoyed coffee-based drinks like salted coffee and iced milk coffee.

The young man admitted that the food and drinks in Vietnam are delicious. He had the opportunity to sit on the sidewalk drinking iced tea, eating "dirty skewers," mixed sweet soup, or riding a motorbike around the streets, taking the elevated train to admire the capital, and couldn't help but be amazed by the bustling development in the homeland of his close Vietnamese friend, Quang Linh.

"Vietnam is beautiful. Everything here is so different from Angola," a male tourist from Africa expressed.
