Unleash the power of unity.
An Nghia commune has a large geographical area and a large population, which poses many potential complexities regarding security and order. In response to the demands of ensuring security and order in the new situation, the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune has identified the task of disseminating information and mobilizing the people to participate in preventing and combating various types of crimes and social evils as a key priority.
During the period 2016-2026, the Fatherland Front Committee and the Commune Police maintained a close coordination mechanism in advising the Party Committee on leadership and direction in building the movement for all citizens to protect national security; simultaneously, they implemented many inter-sectoral programs and plans to ensure security and order in the area. Coordination was carried out regularly through activities such as inspecting and monitoring the situation at the grassroots level, and engaging in direct dialogue with the people on issues related to security and order, land, environment, and land clearance. As a result, many incidents arising from the grassroots level were resolved promptly, preventing the formation of complex "hot spots." Annually, 100% of the Fatherland Front Committees in residential areas signed commitments to implement the movement for all citizens to protect national security; 35 out of 35 residential areas registered to build safe residential areas in terms of security and order; and over 96% of households signed commitments to abide by the law and ensure security and order.
Over the past 10 years, the Fatherland Front and the commune police have coordinated to organize 66 legal awareness sessions in residential areas and schools, attracting more than 25,000 participants; and established and maintained 35 community Zalo groups... Through these awareness campaigns, people provided over 60 valuable pieces of information related to security and order, helping the police investigate and handle 52 cases; and successfully mediated 238 out of 269 internal conflicts among the people.
Ms. Dinh Thi Phuong, a resident of Soi village, said: “Through the awareness campaigns organized by the Fatherland Front and the commune police, we residents have a better understanding of online scams, crime prevention methods, and our responsibilities in maintaining security and order. When we detect any unusual activity, we proactively inform the authorities.”
A highlight of the nationwide movement to protect national security in An Nghia is the active participation of the people. The commune is effectively maintaining 35 self-governing residential area models for security and order; 12 neighborhood fire prevention and fighting groups; 3 security camera models; 8 self-governing family clan models; and 1 model of "Dong Danh Parish saying no to law violations".
Building a strong security posture based on the people's support.
In addition to effective propaganda work, the Fatherland Front of An Nghia commune has also promoted the mobilization of the people to participate in patriotic emulation movements associated with building cultural life in residential areas and building new rural areas. Specifically, the people have donated over 6,000 square meters of land; contributed over 4 billion VND and thousands of man-days to build infrastructure; and installed over 300 streetlights on self-managed roads. This has contributed to strengthening unity and effectively resolving issues arising at the grassroots level.

The people of An Nghia commune launched a campaign to clean up the environment.
Comrade Le Thi Lanh, Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of An Nghia commune, said: “We always consider building the movement of all people protecting national security as a regular and long-term task. The Fatherland Front Committee of the commune has closely coordinated with the police, mass organizations, and residential areas to mobilize the strength of all people to participate in maintaining security and order. When the people truly become the subjects of the movement, the effectiveness of ensuring security and order is significantly improved.”
The coordinated efforts between the Fatherland Front and the commune police force have contributed to a 22% reduction in law violations and a 35% reduction in public disorder incidents in the area compared to the previous period. From the beginning of 2026 to the present, political security and social order have been basically maintained; conflicts among the people have been resolved promptly, preventing the formation of hotspots or complex security and order incidents.
Lieutenant Colonel Lo Van Tien, Head of An Nghia Commune Police, assessed: “The nationwide movement to protect national security has become an important bridge between the police force and the people. Many valuable pieces of information provided by the people have helped the police force to promptly prevent, detect, and handle violations of the law. This is an important factor contributing to maintaining peace and security in the area.”

The An Nghia commune police went down to the residential area to assess the security and order situation in the locality.
The results show that promoting the core role of the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and strengthening coordination have created a combined strength in ensuring security and order. When each citizen becomes a "security soldier" at the grassroots level, the people's security posture is increasingly consolidated, creating an important foundation for An Nghia commune to continue its socio -economic development.
