
Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2 organizes periodic health check-ups for its trainees.
At Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2 (Tam Duong commune), we witnessed more than 20 trainees attentively watching the instructor guide them through cutting techniques in a basic welding training class. Trainee Nguyen Anh Tuan shared: "In the first few days at the rehabilitation center, I was quite worried. However, after the detoxification period, I was able to participate in the welding training class. With the dedicated guidance and encouragement from the teachers and staff, I felt reassured and focused on my studies, strictly adhering to the center's regulations, determined to train hard to soon become a useful citizen for society."

Currently, Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2 is managing 254 trainees. Since taking over the rehabilitation mission, the unit has strictly implemented the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security regarding the rehabilitation process; management and evaluation of learning and training results; reward and disciplinary systems; visits from relatives, receiving letters and money, labor and vocational training for trainees. At the same time, it ensures full compliance with regulations and policies; and organizes the rehabilitation process in five stages.

Rehabilitation Center No. 2 organizes visits for trainees to meet their families.
Since the beginning of the year, the facility has facilitated 1,146 visits between trainees and their relatives in accordance with regulations. This activity contributes to stabilizing the trainees' psychology and mindset, improving the effectiveness of management and education , helping them feel secure in their rehabilitation and preparing for reintegration into the community.
In addition, the unit actively coordinated with relevant agencies and units to organize many practical activities. Specifically, it collaborated with Vinh Phuc College of Technology to open a training course on basic knowledge of politics , law, and life skills for students; coordinated with Tam Duong Commune Police and Tam Duong Branch of the Social Policy Bank to disseminate information on loan policies for people recovering from drug addiction according to Decision No. 08/2026/QD-TTg dated March 3, 2026, of the Prime Minister; and collaborated with Phu Tho Vocational College and Vinh Phuc College of Technology to open two welding training classes for 48 students...

Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2, in coordination with the Mobile Police Unit of the Provincial Police, organized drill and physical training for the trainees.
Major Do Van Nuoi, Head of Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2, stated: "The unit always recognizes that trainees are individuals who need support and companionship to overcome difficulties. Since being transferred to the police force, the unit has focused on building a positive learning, working, and training environment. Through participation in learning, therapeutic work, and group activities, trainees' psychology is more stable, and their awareness of complying with regulations is also enhanced. In particular, the transparent and open implementation of reward systems has created motivation for trainees to strive and progress every day."

Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2 organizes counseling and job placement services for its rehabilitation trainees.
Ensuring absolute security and safety within the facility, along with organizing vocational training and job counseling, has built trust among the trainees' families and society. The achievements not only affirm the correctness of the policy of transferring drug rehabilitation work to the police force but also highlight the image of dedicated and responsible police officers who not only fight crime but also directly participate in educating, rehabilitating, and supporting drug addicts.
Through perseverance, responsibility, and a humane spirit, the officers and soldiers of Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2 are helping trainees overcome their feelings of inferiority, regain confidence, and equip them with the necessary tools to reintegrate into the community and build better new lives.
