On the evening of February 29th, the actress posted photos on Weibo celebrating her 35th birthday with her parents and Little Sponge, who is seven years old this year. Many viewers commented that the boy resembles his father when he was a child, especially his mouth.

According to Ifeng , Angelababy and Huang Xiaoming take turns caring for their child. The child is looked after by both sets of grandparents whenever the parents are away on business. During the divorce proceedings, the two actors agreed not to fight for custody of their child, nor to criticize or speak ill of each other.
