Born and raised in Can Loc, Ha Tinh province. In the rural area of ​​Central Vietnam, rich in revolutionary traditions, Hai and Ha's childhood was marked by numerous hardships and deprivations. From a young age, the two siblings lived away from their parents, cared for and raised by their grandparents.

After graduating from high school with good academic results, instead of choosing colleges or universities, Hai and Ha chose to establish themselves and build their careers in Ho Chi Minh City to support their families. Tran Hoang Hai has a stable job as a cold storage warehouse employee; while Tran Hoang Ha works as a phone repair technician, earning a fairly stable income.

Life gradually settled down, and each of them had their own plans for the future. However, when the country called, both brothers temporarily set aside their work and made a joint decision: to volunteer for military service.

Sharing their decision, Hai and Ha spoke in simple yet determined voices, saying that they had long wished to wear the military uniform to be trained in a disciplined environment, to become more mature in character and willpower. “We believe that every young person should experience the military at least once to learn how to live more responsibly towards themselves, their families, and their country. Joining the army and being trained there is a source of pride for us.”

Speaking with us, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Du, Political Commissar of Regiment 1, Division 324, said: “Through our investigation, we learned that the economic circumstances of the two young men's families are still very difficult, and their lives are still quite challenging. However, what truly impresses and inspires the officers and soldiers in the unit is that they have not let their circumstances become a barrier to their dreams and responsibilities as young people. With their determination, willpower, and sense of responsibility towards their homeland, they boldly volunteered to enlist, demonstrating unwavering faith in the military environment. This simple yet meaningful act not only showcases the beauty of today's youth but also contributes to spreading patriotism and civic responsibility, while further motivating the officers and soldiers in the unit to continue upholding the heroic traditions of Division 324 and resolutely fulfilling all assigned tasks.”

The fact that twin brothers volunteered to enlist in the army and trained together in the same unit is not only a source of pride for their family and hometown, but also a beautiful and meaningful image in this year's recruitment season. The story of Hai and Ha is a vivid testament to the sense of responsibility, patriotism, and desire to contribute of today's youth to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation.
