Born and raised in Nghe An, a homeland rich in traditions of learning and revolution, Dinh Tien Thanh chose a military career early on, driven by a desire to contribute to the nation; while Tuyet Anh, currently working at Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Secondary School in Hung Nguyen Nam commune, is a gentle and dedicated young teacher.

Their encounter began with an introduction from a mutual friend on Facebook. Initially, it was just casual messages, asking about work and life. But the more they talked, the more similarities they discovered. Even on their first meeting, they openly shared information about their families, careers, and future plans.

In the early stages of our relationship, the geographical distance made meeting up difficult. Each visit required careful planning, anticipation, and longing. Sometimes we only had time to see each other for a few hours before parting ways. However, encouraging text messages and brief phone calls at the end of the day became a strong bond connecting our two souls.

Sharing her decision, Tuyet Anh confided: “I thought a lot before deciding to take things further. But the more I interacted with him, the more I felt his maturity and sense of responsibility. I believe that behind the military uniform is a man who knows how to love and cherish his family. Once I made my choice, I decided I had to learn to empathize, share, and become a strong support system for him.”

Lieutenant Dinh Tien Thanh expressed: “As a soldier, I understand that duty always comes first. There are times during peak training periods, when I can't be with the person I love as I wish. What I cherish most is Tuyet Anh's understanding and encouragement. It is this strong support system that helps me feel secure in my work and successfully complete my duties.”

That journey was fraught with difficulties and challenges. There were times when the unit entered peak training periods, preparing for combat, and Lieutenant Dinh Tien Thanh hardly had a single full day off; sometimes he only had time to send a brief text message before returning to the training ground. Far away, Tuyet Anh also faced work pressure, with late-night grading sessions. The geographical distance and the nature of their professions sometimes made them feel disheartened. But it was precisely during those seemingly distant moments that they learned to patiently listen, place their trust in each other, and clearly define their long-term goals. Challenges did not diminish their love; on the contrary, it strengthened their bond.

At the end of 2025, after a long journey that tested and affirmed their faith, Lieutenant Dinh Tien Thanh and young teacher Tran Thi Tuyet Anh decided to tie the knot. Their wedding was simple but warm, held in their hometown of Nghe An, with the blessings of family, friends, comrades, and colleagues.

The journey ahead will undoubtedly be full of challenges, but for them, happiness begins with listening and understanding. When they know how to put themselves in each other's shoes, share their feelings, and work towards a common goal, love becomes a solid foundation, helping each person to stand firm on their chosen path.
