[Photo] Reviving memories of ancient Mid-Autumn lanterns
With the desire to restore the ancient Mid-Autumn lanterns that have somewhat faded from the community's memory; with the passion to preserve traditional crafts, author Doan Thai Cuc Huong brought to the exhibition nostalgic works made from rattan, woven bamboo, traditional Do paper and natural, environmentally friendly earth colors.

Taking place from September 6-14, 2025, the "Lam" exhibition by artist Doan Cuc Thai Huong brings traditional Mid-Autumn Festival lantern designs closer to contemporary audiences.
The exhibition is open to the public free of charge from 9 am to 5 pm at the Ai Tra Art Center ( Hanoi ).
Craftsman Doan Thai Cuc Huong arranges her pomegranate lanterns to welcome visitors at the exhibition. Young art lovers are captivated by the pomegranate and crab-shaped Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns.
Do paper, earthenware colors, rattan fibers, mother-of-pearl powder, the Hang Trong painting of beautiful women, and the antique star-shaped lantern frame combine to create a nostalgic lamp design, deeply rooted in Vietnamese culture. The author poses next to his carp transforming into a dragon sculpture. The traditional Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns created by the artists attracted the attention of visitors, especially children. Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns made from handmade paper in the shape of shrimp, painted with earthy colors and royal court floral patterns.
Colorful butterfly-shaped lamps at the exhibition. The author instructed the children to arrange the artworks to attract visitors. Driven by curiosity and a desire to challenge himself, the author put a great deal of effort into creating the Praying Mantis lamp, ensuring harmonious colors and light transmission when using the light bulb inside. Butterfly-shaped lanterns - Mộng Ngài aims to bring a vibrant and colorful Mid-Autumn Festival.
In addition to lighting products, masks inspired by traditional Vietnamese opera and folk theater also offer unique experiences at the exhibition.
